How to Solve Hard Sort Puzzle Levels
Hard boards are usually dependency puzzles. The move that feels obvious is often the one that destroys your last safe landing space.
1. Treat open space as your main resource
Do not spend your spare lane just because it is available. On hard levels, empty space is what lets you unwind the real bottleneck later.
2. Identify the real bottleneck
The urgent piece is the one with the fewest safe exits, not the one that already looks closest to completion.
3. Plan in two- and three-move chains
If a candidate move does not clearly improve the next move as well, it is usually just cosmetic progress.
4. Delay tempting completions when they close the board
Many difficult boards hide the winning sequence behind a move that feels slower at first but preserves structure.
