How to Solve Smash Fest! Level 388 — Full Solution

  1. Remove the exposed cyan cylinders projecting from the left side of the cage, working from the upper stubs downward.
  2. Clear the corresponding right-side cylinders and the star-block joints holding them to the outer rail.
  3. Continue through the upper side rails until the right roof seam loosens.
  4. Stop firing and let the heavy brown roof and upper silver panels fold down across the center.
  5. Break the exposed upper zigzag panel and its pale-cyan round hub, then wait for that tier to fall.
  6. Work downward through the next silver panel and the brown star blocks on both sides.
  7. Reduce the short U-shaped base from its taller side columns toward the middle.
  8. Clear the last low zigzag panel, then finish the isolated brown star block at the left edge.

Common Mistakes to Avoid

  • Shooting the enclosed center panels before removing the cyan side braces spends ammunition without releasing the cage.
  • Chasing the falling roof or silver panels leaves too few balls for the low side columns.

Layout
A tall narrow cage has four silver zigzag panels, central pale-cyan hubs, brown star-block side rails, paired cyan cylinder projections, and a heavy brown roof.
Goal
Remove the side braces, release the roof and upper tiers, and clear the remaining silver panels and brown rails from the wheeled platform.
Opening
Strip the cyan cylinders projecting from the left and right edges, then break the star-block joints beside them until the upper frame releases.
Danger Zone
The silver center stays upright during the long brace-removal phase, and premature shots into it consume the one-ball finishing margin.
Mechanics
A brace-release cage collapses only after its horizontal cyan projections and outer brown rails no longer support the four silver tiers.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Why shouldn't I aim at the silver center early in Level 388?

The silver center stays upright during the long brace-removal phase; premature shots into it consume the one-ball finishing margin needed for the final cage pieces.

  • What should be removed first?

Start with the cyan cylinders projecting from both sides and the brown star-block joints beside them.

  • When does the main collapse begin?

After the upper side rails release, the heavy roof folds through the upper silver tiers with 18 balls remaining in the recorded run.
