How to Solve Zoodoku Level 25 — Full Solution
- Place the first penguin at the isolated yellow square r9c3; its exclusions establish the safe lower route.
- Place the second penguin at the isolated dark-green square r3c7, leaving the nearby brown and teal candidates crossed out.
- Place the third penguin at r8c1 in the lower pink region, preserving the slate-blue route through r7c4 and r6c5.
- Place the fourth penguin at r7c4 in the slate-blue region. Continue after the source's intermediate Great banner.
- Place the fifth penguin at r6c5 in the central pink region; skip the source's failed r5c5 probe, which produces a red error X and costs one heart.
- Place the sixth penguin at r5c2 in the purple region, leaving r4c5 untouched.
- Place the seventh penguin at r4c9 in the right teal region after the route exclusions settle the last teal landing.
- Finish at r1c8 in the brown region. The eighth penguin completes the visible run with one heart remaining, then the source transitions to Leaderboard.
Colors in this level:
Light-green, Brown, Teal, Dark-green, Purple, Pink, Slate-blue, Yellow
Common Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not probe r5c5 after r7c4. The source marks it red and removes one heart; go directly to r6c5.
- Do not probe r4c5 after r5c2. It is the second red-error square and costs another heart; continue to the safe r4c9 teal landing.
- Do not stop at the Great banner after r7c4. The source still requires r6c5, r5c2, r4c9, and r1c8.
Quick Tips for Zoodoku Level 25 (quick clues)
- Claim the isolated yellow r9c3 and dark-green r3c7 cells first.
- Skip r5c5 and r4c5; the clean finish is r6c5, r5c2, r4c9, then r1c8.
Board notes 5 details
- Layout
- The opening is a clear 9x9 grid: light-green fills the upper-left through r4c5, brown occupies the upper-right and central c6 lane, teal fills the right edge, purple forms the left-middle pocket, pink spans the central/lower route and r8c1-r8c3, slate-blue occupies the lower-left-to-bottom lanes, dark-green is the single r3c7 cell, and yellow is the single r9c3 cell. No board animal or X is seeded; the tiger preview at upper right is outside the grid.
- Goal
- The clean route starts at the isolated yellow r9c3 and dark-green r3c7 cells, then crosses the lower pink/slate-blue path through r8c1, r7c4, and r6c5 before finishing at r5c2, r4c9, and r1c8.
- Opening
- All three hearts are full and the progress strip is empty at the opening. Place penguins in source order at r9c3, r3c7, r8c1, and r7c4; continue at r6c5 without copying the source's failed r5c5 probe.
- Danger Zone
- The source's red error Xs are r5c5 after r7c4 and r4c5 after r5c2. Each costs one heart. Use r6c5 and then r4c9 instead, and distinguish these red marks from white logical Xs.
- Mechanics
- Level 25 has eight successful penguin placements, two observed red errors at r5c5 and r4c5, and one heart remaining at completion. Great appears after r7c4 as an intermediate banner; after r1c8 the source transitions to Leaderboard without a final Good banner.
