Common Mistakes to Avoid
- Pulling the red L into the center while the green L still occupies its turning route.
- Trying to move the yellow L before the upper-left blue blocks create a corner pocket.
Quick Tips for Block Out Level 162 (quick clues)
- Give the central green L the turning bay first—pulling the upper-right red L in early forces both shapes onto one corner.
- Create the upper-left blue corner pocket before attempting the yellow L turn.
Board notes 5 details
- Layout
- Tall rectangular grid filled with red, yellow, green, blue, and purple pieces, including several L-shapes. Exits sit at the green top edge, purple right edge, and yellow, blue, and red bottom edge.
- Goal
- Grow the upper-left cavity into a central turning bay and route every irregular piece to its matching colored edge.
- Opening
- Send the small upper-left green block through the top gate, then clear the blue pieces exposed beneath and beside it.
- Danger Zone
- Moving the upper-right red L into the center before the green L leaves makes both shapes compete for the same corner and locks the board.
- Mechanics
- Five edge exits, dense rectangular packing, and several L-shaped pieces that require a shared turning cavity.
Frequently Asked Questions
Why do multiple L pieces deadlock here?
They compete for a single turning bay. Two L footprints cannot rotate through the same corner without a pre-cleared pocket.
What fails if red enters the center too soon?
Green still owns the bay. Red's entry turns a solvable queue into a permanent corner lock.
