Block Out level guide

Block Out Level 1 Walkthrough

easy 3 colors

Block Out Level 1 is a three-square rotation puzzle. Move black left, lift white into the upper-right corner, slide red aside, and then let white, black, and red leave in that order.

Board Notes

Layout
The board is a compact square with a red gate on the top wall, a white gate on the left wall, and a black gate near the bottom-right edge. The black square starts in the upper-right, white sits mid-right, and red begins in the lower-left pocket.
Goal
Open the left column so black can drop, then rotate white and red around the freed lane until each square reaches its own exit.
Opening
Slide black left first, then lift white into the upper-right corner before moving red. Those two setup moves create the drop lane for the black square.
Danger Zone
Pushing red toward the top gate too early blocks white from crossing the top row and stops black from reaching the bottom lane.
Mechanics
Level 1 teaches the basic Block Out rhythm: park one piece, drop the next piece, then cash out the rotated pieces one by one.

Quick Tips for Block Out Level 1 (spoiler-free)

  • Use the upper-right corner as white's parking space.
  • Do not send red upward until white has already crossed left.
  • If the board feels stuck, look for the color with the cleanest path and use that to regain space.

Common Mistakes to Avoid

  • Trying to raise the red square before the white square has crossed the top row.
