Block Out Level 197 Walkthrough

expert 7 colors

Block Out Level 197 is a tall dense rectangle of layered color bands that ends in a green-L versus long-red-floor crossover. Work from the upper edges inward, free the marked blue block, turn the green L out of center, and only then slide the long red floor bar across the vacant bottom route.

How to Solve Block Out Level 197 — Full Solution

  1. Clear purple from the upper-left edge, working toward the center rather than parking pieces below.
  2. Remove the green bar exposed directly beneath that purple layer.
  3. Peel orange from the upper-right edge, then clear the adjacent yellow group.
  4. Shift the yellow center column away from the marked blue block.
  5. Remove the marked blue block once both side lanes are exposed.
  6. Turn the green L through the opened middle and route it out before touching the floor bar.
  7. Slide the long red floor bar horizontally across the vacant bottom route.
  8. Clear the lower yellow group, then the red corner pieces.
  9. Finish the isolated cyan and green edge blocks.

Quick Tips for Block Out Level 197 (quick clues)

  • Work from the upper edges inward—diving to the long red floor bar early steals the winding room the green L still needs.
  • Clear orange center parks before the green L turn; an orange block in the middle is enough to freeze the finale.
Board notes 5 details
Layout
Tall dense rectangle: purple and green bars stack on the left, orange and yellow blocks pack the right, red bands cross the center and floor, marked blocks sit along the edges, and a late green L forms near the middle above a long red floor bar.
Goal
Open a winding central path, clear the marked blue block, remove the green L from center, slide the long red floor bar out, and finish the remaining lower and edge scraps.
Opening
Peel purple from the upper-left edge toward center, remove the green bar beneath that layer, then clear right-side orange and yellow before shifting the yellow center column.
Danger Zone
Pulling the long bottom red bar inward while the green L remains center-left seals the winding route and traps both shapes against the floor.
Mechanics
Dense layered bands that reduce to a late red and green L-shaped crossover on one bottom route.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Why does sliding the floor red bar too early end the level?

The green L still occupies center-left and needs that winding floor route. Inward red seals both shapes against the floor.

  • What is the non-obvious mid-board killer?

A casual orange park in the center. It looks minor until the green L needs that exact cell for its final turn.
