How to Solve Block Out Level 274 — Full Solution

  1. Remove the exposed yellow and red pieces from the upper edge of the starter pocket.
  2. Slide the green vertical blocks through the left green gate, then clear the short blue block below them.
  3. Move purple down only after the lower-left chamber has space around its top border.
  4. Open the lower-left chamber marked 5 and clear its red, orange, green, and purple reveal from the outside inward.
  5. Reduce the tall center and narrow right counters without parking a long block along the center wall's left border.
  6. When both counters disappear together, clear the right-side blue and red vertical stacks beside the white gates.
  7. Send the simultaneously revealed long cyan vertical bar down through the floor gate.
  8. Remove the long green strip and remaining purple L-shape after cyan vacates the shared lane.
  9. Finish with the red, blue, orange, and green perimeter pieces through their open side gates.

Board notes 5 details
Layout
Tall stepped board with a lower-left chamber marked 5, a very tall center chamber, and a narrow right chamber; green, yellow, red, blue, and purple starter pieces occupy only the upper-left pocket beside colored gates.
Goal
Open the lower-left chamber first, then drain the center and right counters together while keeping the central vertical route available for their cyan and green reveal.
Opening
Remove the exposed upper yellow and red pieces, route the green vertical blocks through the left gate, and clear the short blue block before lowering purple.
Danger Zone
Purple or green parked along the center chamber's left edge blocks the long cyan bar when the paired center-right reveal appears.
Mechanics
The lower-left chamber opens first; the tall center and narrow right counters then finish together, revealing cyan, green, blue, and red pieces at once.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • What space must stay open before the center chamber vanishes?

Its left-side vertical lane. The hidden cyan bar needs that lane to descend directly to the floor gate.

  • Why clear the right-side stacks before moving cyan?

The paired reveal places blue and red stacks beside the same lower exits as cyan. Removing those stacks prevents a three-piece bottleneck at the floor.
