How to Solve Block Out Level 464 — Full Solution

  1. Send the exposed cyan group through its side route, then clear the reachable left purple bars and short yellow pieces.
  2. Remove lower-center yellow bars and accessible green edge blocks until the 2-panel retracts.
  3. Clear newly reachable cyan, yellow, and green groups to open the 5-panel and finish reducing the upper 12-panel.
  4. After the roof opens, take the upper-left cyan band and exposed red/green groups around the two center shutters.
  5. Send the small red square below the shutters straight down through the bottom red gate to open the elbow.
  6. Slide the long purple horizontal beneath the left shutter to the left purple gate, then lift the small right-side yellow square toward the yellow gate.
  7. Carry the red/yellow connected L as one outline from the left of the shutters to their right side without overlapping the green columns.
  8. Bring that same connected L back from the right side to the left by about 0:39, reopening the right-center column for the red horizontal beneath the shutters.
  9. Pull the exposed red horizontal into the open column and send it down through the bottom red gate.
  10. Move the long right-center cyan horizontal through the right cyan gate at about 0:36, then send the upper-left cyan bar to its cyan exit so the shutters can retract.
  11. After the shutters open near 0:32, take the upper-right red L to the red gate and slide the central purple horizontal left through the purple gate.
  12. Lift the central yellow horizontal toward the top yellow gate, then send the cyan L and tall cyan bar upward as the top cyan counter drops from 3 to 0.
  13. Send the connected L from the left through the cleared elbow to the right a second time, remove the short yellow bars, and finish the green columns and rectangle through the right green gate.

Common Mistakes to Avoid

  • Using the center elbow as a parking place for the long yellow bar before the connected L has completed all three passes.
  • Shifting the dense right green group left while a center shutter still restricts the joined L footprint.

Board notes 5 details
Layout
Orange panels marked 12, 5, and 2 cover a wide board above exposed purple, yellow, cyan, green, and red groups. A red/yellow connected L starts on the left, dense green blocks fill the right, and purple/cyan side gates surround a red bottom gate.
Goal
Open all three numbered panels, clear around the two center shutters, and preserve the elbow for the connected L's rightward pass, leftward return, and final rightward pass.
Opening
Take the exposed cyan route first, then clear left purple and short center yellow pieces so the 2-panel opens before the larger 5- and 12-panels.
Danger Zone
A long yellow bar parked across the middle elbow, or the green mass shifted left too early, prevents the red/yellow connected L from completing its three passes around the center shutters.
Mechanics
Layered 12/5/2 reveals lead to two blank center shutters that force one red/yellow connected L to cross right, return left before they open, and cross right again afterward.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Which counter should open first in Block Out Level 464?

Clear the exposed cyan, purple, yellow, and edge green pieces to remove the small 2-panel first, then continue into the 5- and 12-panels.

  • Why can I not turn the red/yellow L around the shutters?

The joined outline uses the whole elbow three times: rightward, back to the left, then rightward again after the shutters open. Keep long yellow bars and the green group outside that route.
