How to Solve Block Out Level 504 — Full Solution
- Clear the exposed lower-left purple and cyan groups, then shift the green blocks away from the outlined yellow L's turning route.
- Reduce the orange 2-count chamber to zero and use its left-side room to swing the yellow L upward toward its gate.
- Take the released red, blue, and green groups from the left while keeping the seam beside the right cyan 4 open.
- Route long cyan blocks through their side exits and continue reducing the right cyan chamber from 4 to zero.
- Move the outlined yellow vertical through the cleared seam, then remove its surrounding red and green rectangles.
- Keep clearing green, red, cyan, and blue groups until the full-width top cyan chamber drops from 6 through 1 and retracts.
- Free the outlined purple rectangle and outlined red square only after their ordinary neighbors leave the center.
- Clear the remaining blue/cyan bars, then work the large green and red groups outward from the bottom and right.
- Send the final red L and red rectangle through the top red exit to empty the board.

Board notes 5 details
- Layout
- A roughly 2:40 rectangular board starts under a full-width cyan 6 chamber, with an orange 2 at middle-left and tall cyan 4 at middle-right. Purple, green, cyan, and one outlined yellow L occupy the exposed lower-left pocket.
- Goal
- Retract the orange, right cyan, and top cyan shutters in sequence, route both large yellow footprints through the central seam, and clear the late outlined and red-heavy layers.
- Opening
- Remove exposed lower-left purple and cyan groups, shift green blocks away from the yellow L, and use the orange 2 reveal to turn that L upward.
- Danger Zone
- A yellow L or outlined yellow vertical left across the seam beside the right cyan chamber prevents the green/cyan groups needed to reduce the remaining counters.
- Mechanics
- Three large counted shutters retract as a cascade; the top cyan chamber stays at 1 through multiple lower-field reveals before finally opening.
Frequently Asked Questions
What order should the three shutters open in Block Out Level 504?
Open the orange 2 first, then the right cyan 4, and finish the full-width cyan 6 after the lower reveals are under control.
Why does the yellow L keep blocking the board?
Its full footprint spans the vertical seam used by counter-reducing traffic. Turn it in the orange chamber's space and move it completely through.
