How to Solve Block Out Level 514 — Full Solution

  1. Remove the upper-left pink and purple groups, then clear the cyan vertical group and exposed yellow bar across the crown.
  2. Take the right-side green and orange groups and move the red L away from the center, reducing the 7-count shutter to zero.
  3. Clear the revealed red, blue, yellow, green, and orange middle wave until the 12-count shutter drops through 6 and 2 and retracts.
  4. Clear the ordinary blocks in front of the cyan/blue and red exits, then send the first cyan blue-key carrier through its cyan gate; the released blue key flies to the green lock and changes 2 to 1.
  5. Send the three red-key carriers out through their carrier-color gates: route the two blue carriers to the blue exit and the red horizontal carrier to the red exit, dropping the yellow chain from 3 to zero.
  6. Bring the remaining cyan horizontal blue-key carrier up the open right side and out through the right cyan gate; its released blue key removes the green chain's final lock.
  7. After both chains disappear, route the large red L to the red gate and the blue rectangle to the blue gate, then clear the loose cyan and orange groups.
  8. Finish with the yellow T and final pink bar through their matching gates, using the fully opened lower half to line up both exits.

Common Mistakes to Avoid

  • Dragging a key-marked carrier toward the chain instead of sending the carrier through its own colored gate.
  • Parking a broad red or blue block in front of a key carrier's exit before the yellow three-lock chain has disappeared.

Quick Tips for Block Out Level 514 (quick clues)

  • Treat the key icon and its carrier separately: route the block to its own colored gate and let the released key fly to the lock.
  • Clear the cyan, blue, and red exits before exposing the key carriers below the chains.
Board notes 5 details
Layout
A crown-shaped upper pack of pink, purple, cyan, yellow, red, green, blue, and orange sits above purple shutters marked 7 and 12 plus three narrow counter bars. Their reveals add a green cross-chain marked 2, a yellow cross-chain marked 3, and colored key-marked blocks.
Goal
Retract both full-width shutters, send every key-marked carrier through the gate matching its block color so its key flies to the correct lock, then route the remaining large shapes through the opened board.
Opening
Clear the upper-left pink/purple groups, cyan vertical, and yellow top bar, then remove right-side green/orange traffic before shifting the red L away from the crown center.
Danger Zone
Broad red or blue groups parked in front of the cyan, blue, or red exits prevent a key carrier from leaving, so its detached key never reaches the lock. Clear each colored exit before moving its carrier.
Mechanics
Key-marked blocks do not touch the chains: each carrier exits through its own colored gate, then the released key flies automatically to a lock. Two blue keys remove the green 2-chain and three red keys remove the yellow 3-chain.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • How do I open the chains in Block Out Level 514?

First retract both large shutters. Then send each key-marked carrier through the gate matching the carrier block; the released blue or red key flies to the green or yellow chain automatically.

  • Why is Level 514 marked hard?

Two counter shutters hide two separate chain stages, and ordinary large blocks can easily block the cyan, blue, or red exits needed by the five key carriers.
