Block Out Level 58 Walkthrough

hard 6 colors

Block Out Level 58 is a funnel board with three wide cyan bays, a smaller throat marked `4`, and a cluttered upper deck balancing a purple `6` chamber against a framed blue block on the right. Open the right shoulder first, trim the left `6` chamber second, and only then let the red and green center strips drop into the cyan funnel.

How to Solve Block Out Level 58 — Full Solution

  1. Clear the framed blue block in the upper-right corner so the right shoulder starts opening.
  2. Shorten the skinny cyan `2` counters on that same side before you touch the middle too hard.
  3. Start reducing the purple `6` chamber on the left once the right shoulder is lighter.
  4. Let the red center strip and nearby green pieces fall into the three wide cyan bays only after both shoulders are open.
  5. Collapse the lower `4` throat once the top deck has stopped feeding extra blockers into it.
  6. Finish with the last red vertical piece and the surviving shoulder blocks after the funnel is mostly empty.

Common Mistakes to Avoid

  • Trying to fill the cyan bays while the framed blue block still hangs over the right shoulder.
  • Dropping the red center strip before the left `6` chamber and right `2` counters have both shortened.

Quick Tips for Block Out Level 58 (spoiler-free)

  • If the framed blue block is still hanging over the right shoulder, the funnel is not ready.
  • Open both shoulders before you let the red center strip drop into the cyan bays.
  • Think in chain clears. The best move is the one that sets up the next two moves, not just the quickest current match.
Board notes 5 details
Layout
Three wide cyan bays marked `9-9-9` span the middle of a bowl-shaped board, feeding into a smaller cyan throat marked `4` below. Above them sit a purple `6` chamber on the left, a framed blue block in the upper-right, two skinny cyan counters marked `2` along the right shoulder, and red/green strips balancing over the funnel.
Goal
The top-right shoulder has to clear before the funnel can collapse. Once the framed blue block and the right-side `2` counters are gone, the red center strip and the left `6` chamber can feed into the three wide cyan bays without locking the throat.
Opening
Pop the framed blue block in the upper-right first, then shorten the right-side `2` counters. After that corner is lighter, start reducing the purple `6` chamber and let the middle red strip fall into the bays.
Danger Zone
Trying to fill the cyan bays before the top-right corner has opened leaves the red center strip hanging above the throat. If that happens, the lower `4` neck never gets enough space to collapse cleanly.
Mechanics
Level 58 is a funnel-collapse board. The cyan counters are not just targets; they form the bowl and throat that the upper deck must drain into in the correct order.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • What really opens the funnel in Block Out Level 58?

The upper-right shoulder. Until the framed blue block and the right-side `2` counters are shorter, the cyan bays cannot accept the middle pieces cleanly.

  • Why does the lower `4` throat jam in Level 58?

Because the top deck is still feeding it blockers. The throat only collapses cleanly after both shoulders have opened and the middle strip has already dropped.
