Colony Flow! Level 129 Walkthrough

hard 7 colors

Colony Flow Level 129 is a castle-on-clouds board where the side sky has to open first, because the golden tower, red roof caps, and wide white cloud base all compete for the same single ant hole.

How to Solve Colony Flow! Level 129 — Full Solution

  1. Start with the earliest surfaced edge family, led by green 8 and cyan 12, so the side sky and lower edge routes open before the bulky tower colors arrive.
  2. Bring in maroon 20 and yellow 45 only after the outer field is already active. These waves begin the roof trim and the main golden tower body without stealing the first sky lane.
  3. Keep the tower shell moving with the next yellow-orange sequence, especially yellow 43, orange 25, yellow 39, and orange 20. Let those broad central waves own the vertical body while the cyan sides continue shrinking.
  4. Add the roof and doorway accents once the shell is stable. Maroon 36, red 34, yellow 27, and pink 25 are much safer once the side sky and tower body have already opened the route.
  5. Hold the wide white base for later. White 47, white 45, and the pale cleanup stacks should arrive only after the cloud fans and most of the tower are already reduced, because the bottom cloud base is the biggest late pocket on the board.
  6. Finish with the last cyan edge cleaners, the remaining golden stripes, and the final red roof accents. The level clears when the cloud base, tower core, and upper caps all disappear together.

Cyan, Yellow, Orange, Red, Brown, White, Green

Common Mistakes to Avoid

  • Sending the wide white cloud base before the side cyan fans and tower shell are already shrinking, which clogs the bottom lane and delays the upper finish.
  • Releasing the red and maroon roof colors too early, which parks ants on tiny crest pockets while the broad tower body is still thick.
  • Treating the tower core as the opener instead of opening the outer sky first.

Board notes 5 details
Layout
Castle-on-clouds portrait inside the white frame. Pale-cyan sky and wing-like cloud fans spread across the left and right, a tall golden-orange tower rises in the center, two red roof caps sit on the upper left and upper right, and a broad white cloud base runs along the bottom. Small yellow flame-like trims and a red doorway accent sit in the middle of the tower. A single dark ant hole sits below the picture. The active row starts empty and then quickly surfaces green 8, cyan 12, maroon 20, yellow 45, cyan 44, later green 7, maroon 1, yellow 43, blue 35, orange 25, yellow 39, orange 20, maroon 36, red 34, yellow 27, pink 25, and late white 47 / 45 plus smaller cleanup singles.
Goal
Cyan and pale-blue stacks clear the broad side sky and lower cloud fans. Yellow and orange drain the central tower body, glowing trims, and lower base. Red and maroon handle the roof caps, doorway, and upper crest. White finishes the wide cloud base and the small pale side pockets. The board ends only when the last roof accents, remaining lower cloud band, and final golden tower stripes disappear together.
Opening
The safe opener is edge-and-sky first. Green 8 and cyan 12 surface earliest and start the side route, while maroon 20 and yellow 45 only become safe once the outer field is already moving. White cloud-base traffic stays delayed until the lower lane is already separated from the tower shell.
Danger Zone
White cloud-base traffic is the greed trap. If white 47, white 45, or the pale cleanup singles enter before the sky fans and tower shell are already shrinking, ants park on the huge bottom base and block the same lane the late roof and tower trims still need. The second trap is releasing the red and maroon crest colors too early, because they only target compact roof pockets.
Mechanics
Empty-row castle routing with edge-first setup, a delayed cloud-base finish, and a vertical tower core that wants to start only after the side sky is already moving. The board resolves in three phases: side sky, tower shell, cloud base.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • What should I tap first in Colony Flow Level 129?

Start with the earliest edge-and-sky stacks, especially green 8 and cyan 12. The side fans control the lane, and the tower body is safer once those outer routes are already moving.

  • Why does the white cloud base jam Colony Flow Level 129?

Because it is the largest late pocket on the board. If the base starts draining before the side sky and tower shell are already reduced, ants park on the bottom cloud band and block the same route the roof and upper tower trims still need.
