How to Solve Colony Flow! Level 197 — Full Solution

  1. Tap yellow 30 into a buffer and leave the other four slots white for the first few seconds.
  2. Tap the second yellow 30 and orange 43 as front cards to keep yellow ants circling the apple.
  3. Add yellow 25 stacks from the lower row only when a buffer opens; watch side counters fall through the 270s.
  4. Wait until the outer yellow corners chip away before tapping pink 26.
  5. Route pink 28 and pink 50 next, leaving at least one white buffer between each large pink.
  6. Tap red 38 only after a pink stream has cleared the hole, then let red ants carve the fruit body.
  7. Tap green 18 for the leaf, followed by later green 15/30 cleanup stacks.
  8. Feed remaining yellow crumbs and mid-run orange groups while pink/red finish the apple silhouette.
  9. Clear brown post/shelf residuals and the last single-digit pink/red stacks, then stop tapping and wait for victory.

Yellow, Orange, Pink, Red, Green, Brown

Common Mistakes to Avoid

  • Launching red 38 during the early yellow flood clogs the buffers and stalls the sunburst drain.
  • Opening both pink 50 stacks at the same time as red 38 leaves no white slot for the leaf green.
  • Stopping when the apple body looks thin but brown shelf counters remain leaves the level unfinished.

Quick Tips for Colony Flow! Level 197 (spoiler-free)

  • Open yellow 30, then keep yellow/orange flowing until the side counters drop well below 300.
  • Hold red 38 and pink 50 until the outer sunburst corners are visibly broken.
  • Stagger pink and red pairs; never park three apple stacks in the buffers at once.
Board notes 5 details
Layout
A large red apple with pink shine, green leaf, yellow-orange sunburst background, and brown side posts plus base shelf (opening counters near 300/300/500). Front row: yellow 30, pink 26, red 38, green 18; five white buffers under one brown hole.
Goal
Clear the yellow background, pink highlight, red apple flesh, green leaf, and brown posts/shelf until the target is blank.
Opening
Tap yellow 30 first so it enters a buffer near 28. Sustain yellow with the second yellow 30, yellow 25s, and orange 43 before any red or large pink stack.
Danger Zone
Starting red 38 or pink 50 while two yellow streams still ring the board fills every buffer and freezes the 500-count brown shelf. Mystery tiles also hide extra pink/yellow volume.
Mechanics
Long multi-stack background drain. Yellow is the majority field; pink/red form the apple portrait; brown posts only fall after sustained yellow traffic. Green is a late leaf pass.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • What is the correct first tap on Level 197?

Tap yellow 30 first, then keep yellow and orange 43 flowing. Do not start red 38 until the sunburst edges break.

  • Why are the side numbers still so high after many taps?

Those brown post counters only drop while yellow traffic is sustained. Stay on yellow/orange until they fall well below 300, then switch to pink and red.
