How to Solve Colony Flow! Level 256 — Full Solution

  1. Tap the exposed white 30 stack on the left, then the adjacent white 30 stack, followed by the exposed white 28 cover card.
  2. Wait through the shared white wave as the counters drain from about 30 to single digits; do not start a red stack during this wait.
  3. Tap the visible red 25 cards, then the next red 25 and red 28 cards as the watermelon flesh opens. Let each red group travel before adding another long red group.
  4. Continue the exposed red and pink flesh stacks until the center is mostly open, pausing whenever the five slots are nearly occupied.
  5. Switch to the green 30 rind route after the red wave clears, then take the newly exposed white and dark-purple cards through the side and lower holes.
  6. Finish the dark-purple outline, brown seed-like details, and remaining white tail one visible stack at a time.

Common Mistakes to Avoid

  • Starting the red 25/25/28 route before the white cover counters have returned leaves no spare slot for the next white card.
  • Selecting every visible red card without waiting hides the green and dark-purple returns behind a full buffer.
  • Treating the yellow or cyan board markers as stack colors sends the route out of the observed sequence.

Quick Tips for Colony Flow! Level 256 (spoiler-free)

  • Treat the white 2/3/6/2/10 counters as occupied until their ants have visibly returned.
  • After the red 25/25/28 group, wait before adding the green 30 rind card so the lower route can breathe.
  • Keep one temporary slot free for the last dark-purple, brown, or white return.
Board notes 5 details
Layout
The pixel grid forms a red watermelon slice with a white inner rind, green outer rind, dark-purple outline, and brown seed-like details. Five white temporary slots sit below the board.
Goal
Remove the white cover first, then clear the red center, green rind, and dark-purple edge without closing the marked yellow and cyan route holes.
Opening
Tap the exposed white 30, white 30, and white 28 cover stacks. Let the counters fall from the high 20s through the final single digits before selecting the red 25 stacks.
Danger Zone
A red 25 or red 28 click during the white wave fills a slot needed by returning white ants. Keep the buffer open until the white counters have cleared.
Mechanics
The recording uses a long white-cover opener, a chained red-flesh route, a green-rind phase, and a late dark-purple and white cleanup. Pause between long color waves.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • What opens Level 256?

The exposed white 30, white 30, and white 28 cover stacks. Let their five-slot counters finish before touching the red flesh cards.

  • When should the green 30 route be used?

After the red flesh wave has cleared and a temporary slot is open. The green route is the rind phase, not part of the white opener.

  • What is the main Level 256 trap?

Clicking red while the last white counters are still moving. The late 2/3/6/2/10 white return still needs the buffer.
