Magic Sort Level 234 Walkthrough

hard Target: 46 moves 9 colors

How to Solve Magic Sort Level 234 — Full Solution

  1. Pour the top 4 (purple) into the middle 5 (empty), then pour the top 3 (pink) into the middle 1 (empty) to free two top slots and load both middle empties with a single color.
  2. Pour the top 1 (green) onto the first cork (M2) to pop it, releasing the hidden green. Route the green back onto a matching lane or into a clean empty.
  3. Pour the bottom 1 (red top) onto the second cork (M3) to pop it, then pour the top 2 (blue) onto the third cork (M4) to pop it. All three corks are now down.
  4. Drain the bottom mixers top-first — pour the red out of bottom 1 to reveal green, the brown out of bottom 2 to reveal yellow, and the purple out of bottom 3 to reveal orange.
  5. Use the freed bottom bottles and the two middle empties as the working buffer. Pour the yellow, orange and green up to the top row to rebuild five single-color lanes (red, yellow, orange, pink, lavender).
  6. Drain the middle mixers top-down, routing each exposed color onto its matching top row bottle. Keep each middle empty single-color and clear it onto a real stack before reusing it.
  7. Top off every bottle so all thirteen end on a single color, with the two middle empties cleared onto real stacks to finish the puzzle.

Colors in this level:

Green, Blue, Pink, Purple, Lavender, Red, Brown, Yellow, Orange

Common Mistakes to Avoid

  • Pouring a color other than a planned match into one of the two middle empties, which strands it immediately and burns the only buffer slot on the board.
  • Popping the third cork before the first two are fully sorted, mixing three new colors into an already-tight middle row with no clean slot to receive them.
  • Forgetting to empty the top 3 and top 4 first, leaving no buffer space to pop the corks cleanly and stranding the pop colors on the top row.

Quick Tips for Magic Sort Level 234 (spoiler-free)

  • Pop corks in the order that spends a top color you can replace — pop the green-hiding cork first so the bottom 1 mixer hands you back a green to refill the top lane.
  • Use the two middle empties (M1, M5) as one-shot shuttles — one color at a time, then clear each onto a real stack before reusing.
  • Drain the bottom mixers top-first to reveal the hidden green, yellow and orange underneath, then route those up to the top row before the middle empties fill up.
Board notes 5 details
Layout
Three tiers, thirteen bottles, no magic bottles or boxes. The top row is five single-color bottles (green, blue, pink, purple, lavender). The middle row is a cork band — three brown-corked bottles at positions 2, 3 and 4 hiding green, red and blue, flanked by two empty flasks at positions 1 and 5. The bottom row is three two-color mixers — red over green, brown over yellow, and purple over orange.
Goal
Pop all three corks to release the hidden colors, then drain the now-exposed middle row alongside the three bottom mixers. The first unlock is the first cork pop — once a matching top color is poured onto a cork, the middle row comes alive and the rest of the puzzle opens up.
Opening
Empty the top 3 (pink) and top 4 (purple) into the two middle empties (M1 and M5) to free two top slots. Then pour the top 1 (green) onto the first cork (M2), the bottom 1 (red top) onto the second cork (M3), and the top 2 (blue) onto the third cork (M4) to pop them all.
Danger Zone
The two middle empties (M1 and M5) are the only buffer space on the board. Pour any color other than a planned match into either and you immediately strand it. Also, popping the third cork before the first two are fully sorted will mix three new colors into an already-tight middle row.
Mechanics
A cork-heavy cork-and-route board where three corks dominate the middle row, with two empty flanks and a five-bottle top, three-bottle bottom structure. The whole level revolves around the order in which the corks are popped and which top color you spend on which cork.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • How do you pop the three corks in Magic Sort Level 234?

Pour a matching color from the top row onto each cork — green onto the first cork (M2), red from the bottom 1 mixer onto the second cork (M3), and blue onto the third cork (M4). Each cork pops and the hidden color joins the play so the middle row becomes five working mixers.

  • Why is the bottom 1 mixer so important in Level 234?

The bottom 1 mixer is red over green, so pouring its red top onto the second cork (M3) both pops the cork and reveals a fresh green underneath — that green is what refills the top row lane you just spent to pop the first cork.
