Magic Sort Level 302 Walkthrough

hard Target: 34 moves 11 colors

Magic Sort Level 302 is a double-vault reveal board with two wide wooden-box vaults on the right edge that each pack two hidden sub-vaults. Pop the wide vaults with the brown caps banked in the bottom row, peel the four mystery bottles top-first to free the dark-question-mark layers, then route every revealed color into a single-color bottle so all ten visible positions end on one color.

How to Solve Magic Sort Level 302 — Full Solution

  1. Pour the cyan base off the top col 1 multi-color stack down into the bottom col 1 empty to start a clean cyan bank.
  2. Pour the blue now exposed on top col 1 down onto the cyan bank in bottom col 1 to lock a clean cyan-plus-blue lane.
  3. Pour the brown top of top col 3 down into the bottom col 2 empty to peel the first mystery bottle and expose its dark-question-mark layers.
  4. Pour the brown top of top col 4 down onto the brown stack in bottom col 2 so both brown caps collect in one buffer.
  5. Pour the consolidated brown bank down onto the top wide wooden-box vault to pop it and unpack its two sub-vaults.
  6. Repeat the same brown feed onto the bottom wide wooden-box vault to unpack its two sub-vaults.
  7. Peel the four mystery bottles top-first one layer at a time and route each revealed color into a clean single-color buffer.
  8. Drain the top col 1 multi-color top-first, banking pink, red, blue and cyan into the freed sub-vault slots or bottom empties.
  9. Top off pink, red, blue, cyan, brown, green, light blue, orange, yellow, purple and gray so all ten visible bottles end on a single color.

Colors in this level:

Pink, Red, Blue, Cyan, Brown, Green, Light blue, Orange, Yellow, Purple, Gray

Common Mistakes to Avoid

  • Pouring a non-brown color onto a wide wooden-box vault fails the pop and strands the top color on an un-popped vault.
  • Pouring the two brown caps out of order strands one brown cap under the wrong base and leaves no large enough brown stack to feed the wide vaults.
  • Peeling the mystery bottles before the wide vaults are open strands the dark-question-mark layers under the still-closed vault tops.

Quick Tips for Magic Sort Level 302 (spoiler-free)

  • Bank the two brown caps from top col 3 and top col 4 in bottom col 2 in left-to-right order before you feed the wide vaults.
  • Pop both wide wooden-box vaults before you peel the mystery bottles or the hidden layers have nowhere to land.
  • Keep every new reveal in a single-color buffer and clear a buffer onto its real stack before you reuse it.
Board notes 5 details
Layout
Two-tier board with ten visible bottle positions. The top row is five bottles: a four-color pink-over-red-over-blue-over-cyan stack, a clean four-segment red, two brown-capped mystery bottles with one brown layer and three dark-question-mark hidden layers each, and a wide red-striped wooden-box vault on the right edge. The bottom row is five bottles: two empty flasks, a green-capped mystery bottle with one green and three hidden layers, a light-blue-capped mystery bottle with one light blue and three hidden layers, and a second wide red-striped wooden-box vault. No magic bottles, no corks, no wraps, no frozen tiles.
Goal
Feed the two wide wooden-box vaults their brown trigger to unpack them into four hidden sub-vaults, peel every mystery bottle top-first to release the dark-question-mark layers, then sort pink, red, blue, cyan, brown, green, light blue, orange, yellow, purple and gray into single-color lanes so all ten visible positions finish on one color.
Opening
Pour the cyan base off the top col 1 multi-color stack down into the bottom col 1 empty to start a clean cyan bank. Pour the blue now exposed on top col 1 down onto the cyan bank to lock a clean cyan-plus-blue lane. Pour the brown top of top col 3 down into the bottom col 2 empty to peel the first mystery bottle, then pour the brown top of top col 4 down onto that same brown stack so both brown caps collect in bottom col 2.
Danger Zone
Pouring a non-brown color onto a wide wooden-box vault fails the pop and strands the top color on top of an un-popped vault. Pouring the two brown caps out of consolidation order strands one brown cap under the wrong base and leaves no large enough brown stack to feed both wide vaults in a single pass. The top col 1 multi-color is the only place cyan, blue and pink live, so a wrong pour off that stack strands one of those three under an unrelated top with no way to recover without a second empty.
Mechanics
A double-vault reveal board gated by two wide red-striped wooden-box vaults that each pack two hidden sub-vaults. The wide vault pops when the brown trigger color lands on its gold cap, then unpacks into its two sub-vaults, each of which holds one or more hidden color layers. The chokepoint is reveal order: pop the wide vaults first to free the hidden colors, then peel the four mystery bottles top-first so the dark-question-mark layers come out one color at a time, then sort the top col 1 multi-color into the freed sub-vault slots and bottom empties.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • How do you open the two wide wooden-box vaults in Magic Sort Level 302?

Bank the two brown caps from top col 3 and top col 4 into the bottom col 2 empty in left-to-right order, then pour that brown bank down onto each wide wooden-box vault in turn. The vault pops on a brown trigger and unpacks into two hidden sub-vaults that each hold one or more revealed color layers.

  • Why are the dark-question-mark mystery bottles the chokepoint in Level 302?

Each mystery bottle has one visible top color and three dark-question-mark hidden layers, so you cannot plan a route until you peel them top-first. Pour the top color into a clean buffer, take the next layer the same way until all four layers of each mystery bottle are out, then sort those revealed colors into single-color lanes.
