Magic Sort Level 339 Walkthrough

hard Target: 50 moves 9 colors

Magic Sort Level 339 is a three-tier routing board with thirteen bottles, three white-glow magic bottles in the top corners and middle-right, and a single starting empty at the bottom-middle. The hard band is the four-color mixers in the middle row plus the bottom red-green-blue-red mixer, and the magic bottles are the only flexible lanes — pour the cyan single into the B2 starting empty first to park the cyan lane, trigger all three magic bottles early so the hidden green, brown and purple enter play, then drain the heavy middle mixers top-first through the freed magic lanes until every bottle ends on a single color.

How to Solve Magic Sort Level 339 — Full Solution

  1. Pour M1's cyan top into the B2 starting empty so B2 becomes a clean cyan buffer, then pour T3's exposed cyan top onto the parked cyan in B2 so the B2 cyan lane grows and T3 drops to green-on-yellow.
  2. Pour T3's now-exposed blue top into the now-empty M1 so T3 collapses to yellow-over-green and M1 becomes a parked blue buffer, then pour T3's green top onto a matching green lane so T3 collapses into a working empty.
  3. Trigger T1 by pouring T2's pink top into the T1 magic bottle so the magic bottle reveals green and becomes a parked green lane. Trigger T5 by pouring T2's now-exposed purple top into the T5 magic bottle, which reveals brown and becomes a parked brown lane. T2 collapses into a working empty.
  4. Drain the M3 cyan-blue-red-red mixer top-first — pour M3's cyan top onto the parked cyan in B2, pour M3's blue top onto the parked blue in M1, and pour M3's two red tops onto the M4 red stack so M3 collapses into a working empty and the M4 red lane grows.
  5. Drain the M2 cyan-blue-orange-red mixer the same way — pour M2's cyan onto B2, pour M2's blue onto M1, pour M2's orange into a free empty or onto a matching orange lane, and pour M2's red top onto the M4 red stack so M2 collapses.
  6. Drain the M4 red-red-green-red mixer last — pour M4's red tops onto the consolidated red lane, pour M4's green top onto the parked green in T1, and M4 collapses into a working empty.
  7. Drain the B1 red-green-blue-red bottom mixer top-first — pour B1's red tops onto the red lane, pour B1's green top onto the parked green in T1, and pour B1's blue top onto the parked blue in M1 so B1 collapses and every bottom bottle finishes single-color.
  8. Top off all nine colors (cyan, green, brown, purple, yellow, orange, blue, red, pink) so every bottle finishes on a single color and the board ends with thirteen full single-color lanes.

Colors in this level:

Pink, Yellow, Blue, Green, Cyan, Orange, Red, Purple, Brown

Common Mistakes to Avoid

  • Pouring M1's cyan top into a magic bottle or a full mixer instead of the B2 starting empty, which strands cyan with no other home and forces a later pour to bury a parked color.
  • Forgetting to trigger all three magic bottles before the top row empties, which leaves the hidden green, brown and purple out of the sort and strands the final state with mixed magic bottles.
  • Pouring two different colors into the same magic bottle, which locks the flask on a two-color stack and costs one of three flexible routing lanes just when the M2/M3/M4 four-color mixers need them most.

Quick Tips for Magic Sort Level 339 (spoiler-free)

  • Pour M1's cyan top into the B2 starting empty first — cyan is the only color on the board that has no other home, and the B2 empty is the only true buffer.
  • Trigger all three magic bottles (T1, T5, M5) with real tops early so the hidden green, brown and purple enter play before the top row empties out.
  • Keep each of the three magic bottles single-color — pour two different colors into one and it locks, costing one of three flexible routing lanes just when the four-color mixers need them.
Board notes 5 details
Layout
Three tiers, no locks, wraps, boxes or corks. The top row is five bottles — T1 = white glow magic bottle (empty), T2 = pink-over-purple-over-pink three-color mixer, T3 = yellow-over-cyan-over-blue-over-green four-color mixer, T4 = yellow near-single, and T5 = white glow magic bottle (empty). The middle row is five bottles — M1 = cyan single, M2 = cyan-over-blue-over-orange-over-red four-color mixer, M3 = cyan-over-blue-over-red-over-red four-color mixer, M4 = red-over-red-over-green-over-red four-color mixer, and M5 = white glow magic bottle (empty). The bottom tier is three bottles — B1 = red-over-green-over-blue-over-red four-color mixer, B2 = clear starting empty, and B3 = pink near-single. There are exactly three magic bottles (T1, T5, M5) and one starting empty (B2), and the T3 yellow-cyan-blue-green mixer is the most visually dominant starter because it is the only bottle that holds cyan and green in the top row.
Goal
Fill the three magic bottles one at a time so they reveal their hidden colors (green, brown and purple), then route the remaining exposed colors through the freed T1/T5/M5 magic lanes and the B2 starting empty until every bottle holds a single color. The chokepoint is pour order: every magic bottle must be triggered early with a real color before the four mixers underneath it get drained, or the hidden color never enters play. The second chokepoint is the cyan lane — cyan only appears in T3, M1, M2 and M3, so until M1 (the only cyan single) is parked as the cyan home, no cyan top can be routed cleanly.
Opening
Start with M1, the middle-row cyan single. Pour M1's cyan top into the B2 starting empty so B2 becomes a clean cyan buffer and M1 collapses into a working empty. Then pour T3's exposed cyan top onto the parked cyan in B2 so the B2 cyan lane grows, and pour T3's now-exposed blue top into the now-empty M1 so T3 drops to green-on-yellow. Trigger T1 by pouring T2's pink top into the T1 magic bottle so the magic bottle reveals green, then trigger T5 with T2's now-exposed purple top so T5 reveals brown. Trigger M5 last with any loose top once a free slot opens.
Danger Zone
The three magic bottles are the only flexible single-color lanes on the board, and each one must finish on a single color. Pour two different colors into the same magic bottle and it locks on a two-color stack, costing you one of three routing lanes just when the M2/M3/M4 four-color mixers need them. A second trap is forgetting to trigger the magic bottles before the top row empties — once T2 is drained, T1 and T5 have no pink or purple left to absorb, and the hidden green and brown have no clean way to enter the sort. The B2 starting empty is the only true buffer on the board, so it must be spent on the first cyan, not on a yellow or a red.
Mechanics
A three-tier, thirteen-bottle routing board with no locks, wraps, boxes or corks. The only special bottle type is the three white-glow magic bottles in the T1, T5 and M5 slots — each is an empty flask that absorbs any poured top color and instantly reveals a new color (green, brown and purple in this level), but each must still finish on one color. The chokepoint is pour order plus magic-bottle discipline: park cyan into the B2 starting empty first so the cyan lane has a home, trigger all three magic bottles early with real tops so the hidden colors enter play, then drain the M2/M3/M4 four-color mixers and the B1 red-green-blue-red mixer top-first through the freed magic lanes until every bottle ends on a single color.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • What is the first pour in Magic Sort Level 339?

Pour M1's cyan top into the B2 starting empty so B2 becomes a clean cyan buffer. Cyan is the only color on the board that has no other home, so the B2 empty must be spent on the first cyan, not on a yellow or a red.

  • How do the three magic bottles work in Magic Sort Level 339?

The three white-glow magic bottles in T1, T5 and M5 are empty flasks that absorb any poured top color and instantly reveal a new hidden color (green, brown and purple in this level). Each must still finish on a single color, so trigger them early with real tops and never pour two different colors into the same magic bottle or it locks.
