How to Solve Sand Shape Level 102 — Full Solution
- Fill pink on the left battlement: left tower top, left side arm, body cells under that tower, and the one-cell inward step that leaves the centre notch open.
- Fill peach as the upright centre T—three cells across under the battlement gap and a two-cell stem straight down.
- Fill yellow as the mirror of pink on the right battlement, right side arm, and body cells under the right tower.
- Fill green as the lower-left L under pink’s left edge, then out across the bottom-left foot.
- Fill cyan as the lower-centre winding piece under the peach stem, between green and the remaining right pocket.
- Fill blue as the lower-right L under yellow, taking the bottom-right foot as the last cells.
Colors in this level:
Pink, Peach, Yellow, Green, Cyan, Blue
Common Mistakes to Avoid
- Expanding pink into the centre notch so the peach T cannot form.
- Painting both bottom feet as one continuous strip instead of side L ends.
Quick Tips for Sand Shape Level 102 (spoiler-free)
- Leave the centre notch open while painting pink so the peach T can sit under the battlement gap.
- Mirror yellow on the right tower only after the peach stem is down.
- Attach each bottom foot to its side L, not to a single bottom bar.
Board notes 5 details
- Layout
- A cream castle silhouette has two raised battlements with a gap between them, mid-height left and right side arms, a six-column body, and wider bottom feet.
- Goal
- Tile the whole castle with six five-cell required polyominoes that match the silhouettes on the Required Shapes card.
- Opening
- The verified run fills pink on the left battlement, left arm, and under-tower body cells, leaving a centre notch for the peach T crossbar.
- Danger Zone
- If pink eats the centre notch cells, the peach T has no crossbar; if the bottom feet join into one strip, green and blue no longer match Required Shapes.
- Mechanics
- Required Shapes only—no gems and no Similarity/Difference markers. The outline forces six interlocking pentominoes.
