Block Out Level 102 Walkthrough

medium 6 colors

Block Out Level 102 flips the usual formula — instead of sliding blocks out, you're placing them in. An empty main grid sits above a bottom inventory of L-shapes and 2×2 clusters, and the step counter tracks each transfer. The puzzle is spatial: fitting every piece cleanly without blocking the middle column, where one misplaced green `1` tile can seal the board.

How to Solve Block Out Level 102 — Full Solution

  1. Drop the first bottom-tray cluster into the upper-left of the main frame to open the run (step 1).
  2. Place the next two clusters along the top row so the center column stays empty.
  3. Move the highlighted green `1` piece through the open center column before filling the lower half.
  4. Transfer the mid-run L-shapes into the left and right lower corners so they do not cross the center lane.
  5. Place the remaining cyan and purple pairs along the bottom row of the main frame.
  6. Clear the last two-block group from the bottom tray to finish the step-11 completion.

Common Mistakes to Avoid

  • Filling the center column before the green `1` piece is placed — the highlighted piece then has no downward path.
  • Dropping late L-shapes into the middle of the grid instead of the lower corners, which blocks the final placements.

  • Keep the center column empty until the highlighted green `1` piece is placed.

Layout
Tall main grid starts nearly empty. A smaller bottom inventory frame holds dense clusters in red, yellow, green, blue, purple, and cyan. A step counter in the top-left advances from `0` through `11` as pieces move from the bottom tray into the main board.
Goal
Every bottom-inventory piece must be placed and cleared inside the main frame before time runs out. The bottom tray shrinks with each placement until only a two- or three-block group remains.
Opening
Drop the first cluster into the upper-left of the main frame. Keep early placements in the top half so later L-shapes still have room.
Danger Zone
Around step 4 a green `1` with a downward arrow highlights the bottom tray. Placing that piece too high closes the middle column and forces a reshuffle.
Mechanics
Placement-fill puzzle where the bottom inventory is the only block source. The step counter tracks each transfer into the main grid.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • What does the step counter track in Block Out Level 102?

Each successful transfer from the bottom inventory into the main grid. The run finishes at step 11 when the bottom tray is empty.

  • Why does the green `1` piece get highlighted mid-run?

It needs the center column open. If you fill the middle too early, that piece cannot drop and the last four placements stall.
