Block Out level guide
Block Out Level 99 Walkthrough
Block Out Level 99 is the Expert Level — the densest and longest puzzle in the 50–100 range at 138 seconds. A large yellow/orange cross-shaped block dominates the center, a purple/blue block fills the top-left corner, green blocks stack vertically on the right, pink/magenta blocks line the left, and red blocks fill the remaining gaps. Lock/key icons on at least four blocks force a specific clearing order. Extract edge blocks first, clear the green and pink masses to expose the cross, then route it out last.

How to Solve Block Out Level 99 — Full Solution
- Clear the smallest edge blocks first: cyan (bottom-right, rightward), blue (top-left, upward), pink (left side, leftward) — each creates incremental room (02:19–02:09 in the video).
- Begin clearing the green blocks stacked on the right side through the right-wall exit because they expose the cross block's right arm (02:09–01:59).
- Clear the pink/magenta blocks on the left side through the left-wall exit because they expose the cross block's left arm (01:59–01:48).
- Unlock the key blocks to open the locked paths — the cross-shaped block's lock must be unlocked before it can move (01:48).
- Clear the large purple/blue corner block from the top-left through the top or left exit because it frees the cross block's upper arm (01:38–01:27).
- Extract the red blocks from the remaining packed areas through the nearest exits (01:27–01:06).
- Route the yellow/orange cross-shaped block through the widest available exit path — it needs clearance in all four directions (01:06–00:56).
- Finish with the last small blocks after the cross piece has exited (00:46–00:25).
Colors in this level:
Red, Green, Blue, Orange, Pink, Yellow, Purple, Cyan
Common Mistakes to Avoid
- Trying to move the cross-shaped block before clearing all four of its arms — it extends up, down, left, and right, and cannot move until every direction is clear.
- Falling behind pace and seeing the 'Super Slow' badge — if the green and pink masses are still present at 01:48, the cross block cannot exit in time.
Quick Tips for Block Out Level 99 (spoiler-free)
- This is a 138-second marathon — plan moves, do not rush or force.
- Clear the green stack (right) and pink mass (left) before anything else — they expose the cross block's sides.
- The 'Super Slow' badge at ~01:48 means you are behind pace — prioritize the sides.
Board notes 5 details
- Layout
- A tall rectangle packed wall-to-wall. Top-left: a large purple/blue block filling the corner. Center: a large yellow/orange cross-shaped block (+ shape) with a lock icon, extending up, down, left, and right from its center. Right side: green blocks stacked vertically. Left side: pink/magenta blocks. Bottom area: red, green, orange, and cyan blocks packed tightly. Lock/key icons on at least four blocks including the cross piece. Small blue and cyan blocks scattered at the edges. Exits: up arrow at top center, left arrows on the left wall, right arrows on the right wall, down arrow at bottom center.
- Goal
- Every block must exit. The yellow/orange cross-shaped block is the final boss piece — it extends in four directions and cannot move until surrounding blocks clear in all directions. The purple/blue corner block is the second-largest piece. Lock/key sequencing forces at least four blocks to be cleared in a specific order before the cross can move.
- Opening
- Start with the smallest edge blocks for incremental room: push a small cyan block at the bottom-right through the right-wall exit, a small blue block at the top-left through the top exit, a small pink block on the left through the left-wall exit (02:19–02:09). Then begin clearing the green blocks on the right through the right-wall exit because they are relatively accessible and expose one side of the cross.
- Danger Zone
- At 01:48 the 'Super Slow' red timer badge appears — you are behind pace. If the green blocks on the right and the pink blocks on the left have not been mostly cleared by this point, the cross piece has no exit path and the level times out. At 01:27 the cross should be partially exposed on at least two sides.
- Mechanics
- The Expert Level — ultimate density and shape challenge. The yellow/orange cross-shaped block is unique in the 50–100 range: it extends in four directions from its center, requiring clearance on all four sides before it can route to any exit. The 138-second timer is generous but the 'Super Slow' badge at ~01:48 signals that falling behind on edge clearing is fatal. Lock/key gates force at least four clears in a specific order.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is Block Out Level 99 the hardest level in the 50–100 range?

What does the 'Super Slow' red badge mean in Level 99?
It appears at around 01:48 and signals you are behind pace. If you see it, immediately prioritize clearing the green blocks (right) and pink blocks (left) to expose the cross block's sides — those are the most critical masses.
