How to Solve Block Out Level 481 — Full Solution
- Send the exposed blue block through the right blue gate first; do not move the marked red block at the left edge.
- After the left gate changes to green, send the exposed green block left, then use the two vacancies to separate the upper purple and yellow rectangles before returning to the red group.
- Empty the first pack until the shutter marked 5 retracts and releases the next yellow, purple, red, and blue group.
- Take the new edge-aligned yellow and blue pieces first, slide the purple mass away from the drop lane, and route the red vertical block toward the left side.
- Clear the rest of the middle wave until the narrow 16 shutter opens, preserving the right-hand notch for the framed cyan and purple pieces below.
- In the stepped field, remove the small yellow and purple pieces before moving either framed square; send cyan toward the pale-blue right route and purple toward the purple right route.
- Clear upper red and cyan bars as their lanes open, then guide the large cyan L through the middle and out on the right without stopping it across the lower corridor.
- Move the large red L only after the nearby cyan and green pieces leave, then clear the remaining red bars until the empty board produces the Level 481 completion card.
Colors in this level:
Red, Blue, Yellow, Green, Purple, Cyan
Common Mistakes to Avoid
- Dropping a long red or purple bar into the center before the next shutter has released its framed pieces.
- Moving the cyan or red L while small blocks still occupy the notch needed by its outer corner.
Quick Tips for Block Out Level 481 (quick clues)
- After each shutter retracts, remove small pieces already facing an edge before moving a framed square.
- Keep both the central drop lane and the right-hand notch free for the late cyan L.
Board notes 5 details
- Layout
- A packed upper chamber sits above shutters marked 5, 16, and 16, with a top counter of 28 and side counters beginning at 3, 7, 12, and 23. The released board has stepped sides, six edge routes, framed squares, long bars, and large red and cyan L shapes.
- Goal
- Lower every shutter counter, feed each released wave through the shared center, and empty the final stepped field before the visible timer runs out.
- Opening
- Send the exposed blue block through the right blue gate first. When the left gate changes to green, send the green block left; keep the marked red block parked while those two exits create the first working cells.
- Danger Zone
- A long red or purple bar left across the center below the starter chamber blocks the framed cyan/purple squares and the later cyan L from entering the only usable lower corridor.
- Mechanics
- Three counter-controlled shutters reveal successive waves; framed pieces and large L silhouettes require clearance for their entire footprints.
Frequently Asked Questions
Why should the middle stay open in Block Out Level 481?
Every shutter releases blocks through the same central drop lane, including framed squares and two large L shapes that cannot use a one-cell detour.
Which pieces should leave first after a shutter opens?
Use the small blocks already aligned with a colored edge, then move framed squares and L shapes through the space they create.
