How to Solve Block Out Level 482 — Full Solution

  1. Send the upper yellow squares through the top gate and use their cells to separate the neighboring green squares.
  2. Move the left red group toward its side route, clear the tall blue block from left-center, and keep the purple rectangle out of the central spine.
  3. Route purple through the right gate, then finish the remaining green, yellow, blue, and red pieces until the shutter marked 9 retracts.
  4. In the first reveal, remove small edge-aligned green, blue, and purple pieces before guiding the framed cyan L through the open middle.
  5. Send cyan pieces toward the newly exposed blue and pale routes, then clear the red vertical groups that continue reducing the lower shutter.
  6. After the 17 shutter opens, take bottom blue and green blocks from their edge lanes before drawing the long red bars inward.
  7. Use the emptied bottom row to route the last framed cyan square and large cyan L while leaving the staircase corner open for the red L.
  8. Slide the final red L through the cleared center, align it with the red side exit, and remove it to trigger the Level 482 completion card.

Common Mistakes to Avoid

Board notes 5 details
Layout
A staircase-shaped upper field alternates red, blue, yellow, green, and purple blocks above two orange shutters. The opening edges show a yellow top gate and purple right gate, with counters 5, 14, and 27; later waves expose green, blue, and pale side routes.
Goal
Drain the upper staircase, open both shutters in order, and route the framed cyan pieces plus the large cyan and red L shapes through the expanding central field.
Opening
Remove yellow squares directly beneath the top gate, separate the adjacent greens, then take the left red and blue groups before sending purple to the right.
Danger Zone
A purple column or red vertical bar parked in the central spine prevents the cyan and red L-shaped pieces from clearing the staircase corner.
Mechanics
Two numbered shutters release deeper waves into a stepped board, including framed cyan pieces whose complete outlines need open turning space.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • What is the key space in Block Out Level 482?

Keep the central spine beside the staircase open because both cyan and red L shapes need it to change alignment.

  • Why clear yellow first?

Several yellow squares begin directly under the top gate, and removing them creates the first safe vacancies for the green and blue pieces.
