How to Solve Block Out Level 493 — Full Solution
- Send the top pink block through the upper gate, then clear direct-route red and cyan pieces from the right edge.
- Remove yellow groups as their lanes open and peel green, red, and blue from the exposed pocket's outer edges.
- Keep the pink double-arrow L low until its vertical column clears, then move it through the upper route.
- As the left and lower shutters open, drain each new wave from the right gate inward without filling the center.
- Take easy cyan and yellow edge groups from the full-board reveal, keeping long purple bars away from the lower-left corridor.
- Route the large cyan slab and yellow hook through the open top/right lanes, then remove the blue horizontal crossing the center.
- Move the dotted cyan-green stepped piece out of the lower-left before the green corner and purple runs take its path.
- Clear the remaining green and purple shapes from the bottom/left edges, finishing with the framed pink horizontal.

Board notes 5 details
- Layout
- A tall left chamber marked 12 and lower chambers marked 15 and 7 surround one exposed upper-right pocket. A pink double-arrow L sits below packed green, cyan, red, yellow, pink, and blue blocks.
- Goal
- Drain the active quadrant to open all three shutters, then clear the expanded board while protecting the route for the large cyan slab, yellow hook, and dotted stepped piece.
- Opening
- Take the top pink block, remove right-edge red and cyan, then peel yellow, green, and blue from the outside while leaving the arrow slider low.
- Danger Zone
- Raising the arrow slider before its column clears traps early yellow/red blocks; later, a purple bar across the lower-left corridor strands the dotted cyan-green step.
- Mechanics
- Three separately counted shutter chambers expand one active quadrant into a full board containing fixed walls and several large or connected late shapes.
