How to Solve Block Out Level 509 — Full Solution

  1. Remove the free left cyan square and yellow floor-side group, then clear the reachable lower blue and green pieces.
  2. Route the outlined cyan/green L through the left opening by its entire footprint and leave the center strip empty behind it.
  3. Take the exposed purple and cyan blocks until the lower shutter marked 2 retracts.
  4. Clear the first revealed yellow, red, green, and cyan edge groups to reduce the upper shutter marked 3 without occupying the right step.
  5. Open the upper shutter and remove the top cyan/red groups, creating a landing lane for the displayed L pieces.
  6. Feed one red L and then one blue L into the board, alternating them with reachable yellow and green exits so each shape can turn.
  7. Clear the large lower yellow groups and purple floor blocks before accepting the remaining red/blue L pieces into the central strip.
  8. Finish the last red cluster and yellow L, then route the separated green blocks through the left/lower exits to complete the SUPER HARD board.

  • Count the remaining right-bay silhouettes before occupying their landing column.

Board notes 5 details
Layout
Two wide blue shutters marked 3 and 2 cover most of a 2:14 board. The exposed floor pocket holds green, cyan, blue, yellow, and purple groups around an outlined cyan/green L, while two purple right bays display a red L count 3 and blue L count 2.
Goal
Clear the floor pocket to retract the 2-count shutter, open the 3-count upper chamber from its reveal, then alternate ordinary exits with the five displayed L pieces without blocking the stepped right-hand landing lane.
Opening
Take the free left cyan square and yellow floor-side group, clear the reachable blue/green edges, and route the outlined cyan/green L through the left opening by its full footprint.
Danger Zone
A long yellow piece or red L parked in the central strip blocks the next blue L from the right bay and traps the lower purple group behind the stepped wall.
Mechanics
Two sequential shutters hide the board while right-side display bays visibly queue three red L pieces and two blue L pieces that must be fed into the changing field.

Frequently Asked Questions

They visibly track queued L-shaped traffic on the right: three red L pieces and two blue L pieces still need room to enter and cross the board.

  • Which shutter opens first?

Retract the lower shutter marked 2 from the exposed floor pocket, then use its revealed pieces to reduce the upper shutter marked 3.
