Block Out level guide
Block Out Level 539 Walkthrough
Block Out Level 539 is a SUPER HARD dependency board capped by a 23-count reservoir: ordinary exits tick down blue frozen blocks marked 15 and 10 and three orange locks marked 3, so free the lower lanes in the video's order before routing the connected second-layer shapes.

How to Solve Block Out Level 539 — Full Solution
- Slide the free yellow blocks on the left toward the yellow gate and send the right-edge orange vertical through the orange gate; the 23, 15, 10, and orange 3 counters all begin dropping from these ordinary exits.
- Take the exposed bottom red horizontal through the red floor gate, then move the lower yellow bars left/down; do not try to drag the blue 10 bar or center 15 hexagon while their ice remains.
- Clear the small pink and purple blocks beside the left gate and the right red horizontal, opening cells around the center 15 restraint while the three orange locks continue counting down.
- Use the new lower-right space to send the orange vertical right and the cyan horizontal toward the blue gate; this releases the blue 10 bar when its counter reaches zero.
- After the 10 restraint clears, remove the yellow block above it and the red/orange columns beside the bottom orange 3 lock, then clear that unlocked bottom lane through the red floor gate.
- Continue with the central yellow vertical and adjacent red groups until the blue 15 restraint and the orange 3 lock directly under the reservoir both reach zero; use the cells they uncover without parking another long block in the center.
- Finish the remaining first-layer green, pink, orange, and red edge blocks to count the upper 23 reservoir to zero, preserving the empty vertical seam from the top opening to the floor gate.
- When the reservoir retracts, clear the exposed top cyan/blue fields to the top/left blue gates and the red/orange upper-right pieces to their right-side gates before touching the connected outlines.
- Route the red-outlined pink L across the upper-middle opening, then take the cyan connected stair and the long green connected zigzag through the center one at a time.
- Clear the lower purple and small green pieces, then finish with the remaining cyan stair and green L once their entire footprints have direct paths to the blue and green gates.

Common Mistakes to Avoid
- Trying to move the blue 15 hexagon, blue 10 bar, or an orange 3 lock as though its number were a gate label; each stays restrained until other blocks leave.
- Parking the freed blue bar or long yellow column in the center and blocking the large connected shapes revealed by the 23 reservoir.
Quick Tips for Block Out Level 539 (quick clues)
- Treat 15, 10, and each orange 3 as countdown restraints, not movable blocks; watch them fall as ordinary pieces exit.
- Keep the vertical center open when the 15 and 10 restraints release because every large second-layer shape reuses it.
Board notes 5 details
- Layout
- A wide 23-count upper reservoir covers the second layer. Below it, a blue frozen hexagon marked 15 sits in the upper center, a frozen blue horizontal marked 10 spans the lower right, and orange locks marked 3 sit under the reservoir, at lower left, and above the bottom gate among red, yellow, orange, pink, green, purple, and blue blocks.
- Goal
- Remove ordinary edge-facing blocks to count the frozen 15 and 10 restraints and all three orange 3 locks down to zero, then empty the 23 reservoir and route the revealed red/pink, cyan/blue, and green connected shapes through the opened center.
- Opening
- Send the free left yellow blocks to the yellow gate and the right orange vertical to the orange gate, then clear the exposed bottom red/yellow pieces; each exit lowers the frozen 15/10 counters and orange 3 locks rather than sending those marked pieces directly to a gate.
- Danger Zone
- The frozen 15 hexagon and 10 bar are immovable until enough ordinary blocks leave. Parking the long yellow center column or a red L across the center before those counters unlock cuts off both the lower gates and the later connected shapes.
- Mechanics
- Ordinary blocks leaving the board drive several linked countdowns: the blue frozen pieces fall from 15 and 10, the three orange locks fall from 3, and the upper reservoir falls from 23. A zero counter removes its restraint and exposes the next route.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can the frozen blue 15 and 10 blocks be sent straight to a matching gate?
No. Clear ordinary edge-facing pieces first; their numbers fall with those exits, and reaching zero removes the frozen restraint and opens its occupied cells.
What unlocks the three orange blocks marked 3?
The same first-layer exits count the orange locks down. Clear the free yellow, orange, red, pink, and cyan pieces around each lock, then use the lane that opens when its 3 reaches zero.
