How to Solve Block Out Level 696 — Full Solution

  1. Remove the crown's top pink and cyan pieces through the purple and cyan gates, then use the exposed green and yellow exits without parking an orange corner in the middle.
  2. Lower the 11-cover to 1, then send the upper-right nested L's orange outer layer through the right yellow gate; the cover reaches 0, reveals the middle board, and the upper-left orange L is moved first.
  3. Raise the long outlined orange horizontal into the top transfer row, then clear upper green/yellow/pink pieces before moving the outlined red vertical across the right.
  4. Route the cyan verticals to cyan/blue gates and the yellow-pink L toward the pink side gate while leaving the lower-cover shelf open.
  5. Lower the 6-cover to 1, send the plain yellow L through the right yellow gate, then clear the first post-reveal pink zigzag through the left pink gate after the orange/green/cyan pocket appears.
  6. Move the revealed orange square into the upper field first, then separate the cyan horizontal and vertical so both can reach their gates without trapping the green L.
  7. After one blue clear leaves the 2-cover at 1, send the small blue vertical through the right blue gate; the cover opens onto pink/cyan/green/red pieces and the revealed cyan horizontal leaves first through the top cyan gate.
  8. Send the new pink/cyan pieces to their side and top gates, route the red vertical through the bottom red gate and move the outlined green L toward the right gate.
  9. Clear the remaining cyan L through the top cyan gate, followed by the green zigzag and green vertical through the green exits.
  10. Finish with the green corner through the right green gate, the green vertical through that same gate, and the orange 2x2 square through the lower-left orange gate; the board empties at 0:30 before PERFECT.

Layout
A narrow mixed-color crown sits above a wide purple 11-cover, an orange 6-cover at lower-left and a blue 2-cover at lower-right. Outlined orange corners, a pink square and cyan/green/yellow pieces crowd the only top lanes.
Goal
Use the upper-right orange outer L at the right yellow gate to open the 11-cover, a later yellow L at that gate to open the 6-cover, and the small blue vertical at the right blue gate to open the 2-cover.
Opening
Send the top pink and cyan pieces through their gates, work the easy green/yellow exits and keep both orange-outlined corners away from the crown's open center.
Danger Zone
Parking the long outlined orange bar on the shelf above the lower covers blocks the red vertical and the blue pieces required to open the final chamber.
Mechanics
The 11-cover opens when its last orange outer L leaves the yellow gate; the 6-cover opens on a later yellow L, and the 2-cover opens when its last small blue vertical leaves the right blue gate.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • What is hidden under the orange 6-cover in Block Out Level 696?

The plain yellow L exits through the right yellow gate while the cover shows 1, taking it to 0; the reveal contains an outlined orange square, outlined green L, cyan horizontal/vertical pieces and compact bars, and the first clear afterward is the pink zigzag through the left pink gate.

  • How does the blue 2-cover open, and what leaves first afterward?

After the first blue clear lowers it to 1, the small blue vertical exits through the right blue gate for 1 to 0; the newly revealed cyan horizontal then leaves first through the top cyan gate.
