How to Solve Block Out Level 698 — Full Solution

  1. Clear short purple, green and yellow pieces from the lower pocket while preserving the cells around the nested outlined L.
  2. Rotate the green/pink outlined L through the lower center and move orange/pink pieces away from the narrow green 3-cover.
  3. Keep the blue-outlined yellow vertical staged at the right wall; it remains on the board before the 3-cover opens, so hold it until the trigger and reveal create its route.
  4. Send the pink outlined L through the right green gate for the lower-left 3-cover's final 1-to-0 trigger; it reveals a cyan/yellow/orange stack, then move the pre-existing right-side blue-outlined yellow vertical first toward the bottom route.
  5. Send the orange vertical through the bottom orange gate to change the orange cover from 1 to 0; it reveals orange, green, purple and outlined pieces, and move the pink L first.
  6. Move the pink L away from the bottom-right outlined vertical before committing either piece to an edge.
  7. When the counters become colored gates, send the outlined green horizontal and purple bar through their matching side exits.
  8. Send the lime L through the left green gate to change the green cover from 1 to 0; move the revealed green vertical first, then free the blue L and yellow vertical.
  9. Clear the lower pink/cyan corners and orange/red blocks while leaving the middle available for the final large shapes.
  10. Finish with the green L through the right green gate, the red horizontal through the left red gate and the purple square through the right purple gate; the board empties at 0:29 before PERFECT.

Layout
Orange and green 1-covers plus a narrow green 3-cover surround a lower pocket of purple, green, yellow, orange and pink blocks, an outlined L and a blue-outlined vertical.
Goal
Reduce the perimeter lock counts, open the three covered chambers and route the long revealed bars through the colored gates that replace the numbered white edges.
Opening
Remove short lower-pocket pieces first, rotate the nested green/pink L through the center and hold the blue-outlined yellow vertical near the right wall until its route clears.
Danger Zone
Parking the pink L beneath the blue-outlined yellow vertical blocks both pieces from turning toward their eventual bottom and side exits.
Mechanics
The pink L opens the lower-left cover at the right green gate, the orange vertical opens the orange cover at the bottom orange gate, and a lime L opens the green cover at the left green gate.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • What do the white numbers around Block Out Level 698 mean?

They are delayed perimeter locks that count down as pieces leave; at zero they change into colored exits used by the large revealed shapes.

  • Which space is most important to preserve?

Preserve the bottom-right bend beside the outlined yellow vertical; the pink L must vacate it before the yellow piece can line up with the bottom gate.
