Colony Flow! level guide
Colony Flow! Level 111 Walkthrough
Colony Flow Level 111 is a purple bird perched above a branch with a cyan water strip under it. Purple 20 has to open the branch route first; green 50 and the later cyan refills only become safe once the early dark body traffic already owns the single hole.

How to Solve Colony Flow! Level 111 — Full Solution
- Tap purple 20 first from the top source shelf into the far-left active pad. Let that opening purple wave start the branch and lower body cells before you promote any bright accent color.
- Promote blue 25 and then dark-blue 30 behind it. Those two darker waves keep feeding the branch underside, belly edge, and early tail path through the same single hole.
- Bring up green 50 only after the first dark traffic is already moving. Green starts the lime highlight cells on the bird's head, back, and belly without stealing the entrance from the branch route.
- Feed purple 40 and pink 30 next so the big upper wing and back ridge keep filling while the green highlight cells spread. Leave a short beat between taps if the hole is still crowded.
- Once the lower lane is open, send cyan 16 and the later cyan refills to clear the bottom water strip and the small side accents near the frame. Do not rush cyan before the branch underside has clearly started.
- Finish with the deeper purple / navy cleanup stacks from the lower shelves, including the late dark refills that clear the tail edge, branch shadow, and beak-side contour. The bird clears when the final dark outline and the last cyan water cells land together.

Common Mistakes to Avoid
- Opening with green 50 before purple 20, blue 25, and dark-blue 30 have started, which strands dark bird-body traffic behind scattered lime highlights.
- Sending cyan into the bottom water strip too early, so the late navy / black branch-shadow cleanup cannot reach the same entrance lane.
- Promoting purple 40 and pink 30 back-to-back while the first branch wave is still jammed at the hole, which stalls the upper wing clear and forces the later dark refills to wait too long.
Quick Tips for Colony Flow! Level 111 (spoiler-free)
- Start with purple 20, then keep the first branch lane dark with blue 25 and dark-blue 30 before you touch green 50.
- Treat green 50 as a midgame highlight stack. It is safe only after the lower branch and belly traffic are already moving through the hole.
- Hold cyan until the branch underside has started. Early water-strip traffic is what usually blocks the late tail and shadow cleanup.
Board notes 5 details
- Layout
- The board opens in portrait view with a right-facing bird pixel portrait perched on a purple branch. The bird is mostly purple and dark blue, with lime-green highlight cells across the head, wing ridge, and belly, plus a pale cyan water strip running along the bottom of the picture. A single dark ant hole sits below the frame, and the 5-cell active row starts empty / empty / empty / empty / empty. The first visible source shelf opens with green 50, purple 20, purple 40, and pink 30, then blue 25, dark-blue 30, cyan 16, and lime 33, with deeper purple / navy refills still waiting below.
- Goal
- Purple and dark-blue stacks clear the branch, lower belly, tail base, wing mass, and beak-side shadow. Green stacks clear the bright head, back, and belly highlights. Cyan waves clear the bottom water strip and small side accents. Late dark refills finish the tail edge, branch underside, and the last outer contour so the full perched-bird picture resolves.
- Opening
- Purple 20 is the first confirmed rise from the top source shelf. Blue 25 and dark-blue 30 follow it, so the earliest legal traffic is all dark branch / body routing through the single hole. Green 50 stays held until those opening dark waves are already moving; only then do purple 40 and pink 30 safely join for the upper wing and back ridge.
- Danger Zone
- Green 50 is the board's greedy trap. Fire it before purple 20, blue 25, and dark-blue 30 have opened the branch and lower belly, and green ants park on scattered highlight cells while the big dark body still needs the only entrance. Early cyan is the second trap — the bottom water strip looks safe, but premature cyan traffic blocks the same lane that the late navy / black cleanup needs for the branch underside and tail.
- Mechanics
- Empty-active bird portrait with limited-buffer routing, one ant hole, and delayed accent colors. Unlike Level 106's same-color yellow opener, Level 111 starts from a blank active row, promotes dark body stacks first, then asks the player to delay the green and cyan accents until the branch route is already stable.
Frequently Asked Questions
What should I tap first in Colony Flow Level 111?
Start with purple 20. Level 111 opens from an empty active row, and that first purple wave is what claims the branch and lower bird body before blue 25, dark-blue 30, green 50, or cyan can safely share the single hole.
Why does green 50 fail if I send it early in Colony Flow Level 111?
Green only clears scattered highlight cells. If it enters before the dark branch and belly waves are already moving, green ants park on those small bright patches and block the only entrance that the larger purple / navy bird-body cleanup still needs.
