Colony Flow! Level 2 Walkthrough

easy 3 colors

Colony Flow Level 2 reveals a heart pixel art with a pink outer ring, a cyan body, and a small yellow center, but the real puzzle is sequencing a 4-slot buffer row that pre-holds a pink 37 stack above a 3x3 grid of eight more color stacks.

Board Notes

Layout
The board opens in portrait orientation. The top half is a pixel-art target shaped like a heart with a pink outer ring, a cyan body, and a small yellow center cluster. A single dark round hole sits directly below the heart as the ants' entry point. The buffer row underneath the heart has 4 slots, with a pink 37 stack already placed in the leftmost slot and 3 empty white slots to its right. Below the buffer row is a 3x3 stack grid. The top row holds pink 37, cyan 38, pink 37. The middle row holds cyan 37, yellow 9, cyan 37. The bottom row holds yellow 8, [empty], yellow 8. The heart is fully intact at the start.
Goal
The heart pixel art must be completely filled. Pink cubes must reach the outer pink ring cells, cyan cubes must reach the cyan body cells, and yellow cubes must reach the small yellow center cluster. The pink ring needs roughly 111 pink cubes from the three pink 37 stacks, the cyan body needs about 112 cyan cubes from the cyan 38 plus the two cyan 37 columns, and the yellow center only needs 25 yellow cubes total (9 + 8 + 8).
Opening
Tap the pre-placed pink 37 stack in the leftmost buffer slot to send a wave of pink ants up the left side of the heart and start filling the pink ring. Then tap the cyan 38 stack in the middle of the grid's top row, which gets lifted into the buffer row and starts dropping cyan cubes down the right side of the heart. From there, alternate pink and cyan taps in the buffer row, re-tapping each stack as it refills, so both colors feed the heart in parallel.
Danger Zone
The center yellow 9 stack in the middle row of the grid is the main trap. It is the smallest stack on the board and it sits between the two cyan 37 columns, so tapping it before the cyan walls on either side are drained scatters the 9 yellow ants into perimeter traffic and the heart's center never lights up. The other trap is letting all 4 buffer slots fill at once with active stacks, which means no new color can be queued and the route stalls until one of the active batches finishes its loop.
Mechanics
Level 2 is a multi-stack color routing board combined with a 4-slot buffer constraint and a pixel-art completion goal. The pre-placed pink 37 in the buffer is a single-color opener, but unlike Level 1 the buffer now has 4 slots and 8 more stacks are waiting in the 3x3 grid, so the run becomes a real routing puzzle. The 3x3 grid forces a strict top-to-bottom order in each column, and the small center yellow 9 has to be the last tap so the yellow ants reach an already-prepared cyan body.

Quick Tips for Colony Flow! Level 2 (spoiler-free)

  • Save the center yellow 9 stack for last. Tapping it before the cyan 37 columns on either side are drained scatters the 9 yellow ants on the perimeter and the heart's center never fills in.
  • Keep at least one buffer slot empty at all times so you can queue the next color stack without stalling the active pink or cyan routes.
  • Treat the two cyan 37 columns on the middle row as the real solve, not the small yellow 9. The 9 yellow ants only light up cleanly once both cyan walls are gone.

How to Solve Colony Flow! Level 2 — Full Solution

  1. Tap the pre-placed pink 37 stack in the leftmost buffer slot. A wave of pink ants climbs the left side of the heart and starts chipping the pink ring. Wait for the trail to clear before the next tap.
  2. Tap the cyan 38 stack in the middle of the grid's top row. It lifts into the buffer row and a wave of cyan ants starts dropping down the right side of the heart.
  3. Alternate taps between the pink 27 and the cyan 31 in the buffer row, re-tapping each as it refills. Both colors should feed the heart at the same time so the pink ring and cyan body finish together.
  4. Once the buffer slots clear out, tap the cyan 37 stack on the middle row's left side. It lifts to the buffer and feeds the heart's left body. Wait for that batch to clear the perimeter before tapping again.
  5. Tap the cyan 37 stack on the middle row's right side after the left one is mostly drained. This finishes the cyan body so the heart's center region is ready for yellow.
  6. Save the center yellow 9 for last and tap it once. The 9 yellow ants climb the perimeter and light up the small yellow center cluster of the heart.
  7. Finish the two yellow 8 stacks at the bottom corners of the grid with single taps. The pixel art is now complete and the level clears as soon as the last cube is delivered into its matching cell.

Pink, Cyan, Yellow

Common Mistakes to Avoid

  • Tapping the center yellow 9 stack before the cyan 37 columns on its left and right are drained out of the grid, which scatters the yellow ants on the perimeter and leaves the heart's center empty.
  • Letting all 4 buffer slots fill at once with active stacks, so no new color can be queued and the route stalls.
  • Burning the small yellow 8 stacks in the bottom corners before the cyan body is finished, which forces the last body cells to be filled by an oversized cyan batch and adds a long final wait.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • What is the safest first move in Colony Flow Level 2?

The 9 yellow ants are too small to clear the heart's center on their own. The cyan body cells around the center are still being filled for most of the run, so if yellow is sent early the 9 ants get caught in the perimeter traffic and the heart's center never lights up. Tap the yellow 9 only after the two cyan 37 columns are drained.

  • Why does the route jam if I switch colors too early in Colony Flow Level 2?

Tapping the yellow 8s before the cyan body is finished sends yellow ants across still-empty cyan cells and stalls them on the perimeter. Save both yellow 8s for the last two taps, after the cyan 37 columns are drained and the center yellow 9 has lit up the small cluster.
