How to Solve Colony Flow! Level 284 — Full Solution

  1. Tap light cyan 50, blue 45, the exposed light-cyan 35, blue 20, and white 40 in that order.
  2. Wait for a returned bay, then continue the exposed light-cyan 40/35/37/25 and white/cyan stacks while both 100 counters fall together.
  3. When the background wave has opened the lower strip, tap red/brown 17 and the next light-cyan 40/30 release, leaving one bay free for the side route still moving.
  4. Start red/brown 50, 30, and 35 for the figure only after the body route is visible; do not add dark purple while the brown wave is still filling every bay.
  5. Feed dark-purple 45/50 for the base and outline, then use cyan 20/25 and blue 24/50 to clear the remaining background fragments.
  6. Finish white 1, the short red/brown tails, and the last dark-purple/cyan single digits. Wait for the top 50 cap, both 100 counters, and the question-mark strip to vanish.

Common Mistakes to Avoid

  • Adding dark-purple 45/50 during the full cyan opener can bury red/brown 17 and delay the final white 1.
  • Treating the two-row question-mark strip as one ordinary gray stack can make the board look clear while locked pixels remain.

Quick Tips for Colony Flow! Level 284 (spoiler-free)

  • Use the exact five-card opener: light cyan 50 -> blue 45 -> exposed cyan 35 -> blue 20 -> white 40.
  • Wait for the background wave to return a slot before launching red/brown 17 or the dark-purple base.
  • Keep one bay available for white 1 and the final cyan/blue fragments around the locked strip.
Board notes 5 details
Layout
The board shows an upright brown figure/boot-like silhouette with a dark-purple base and outline against a white/light-cyan background. A brown top cap is marked 50, white counters marked 100 sit left and right, and two rows of gray question-mark tiles form the lower locked strip. Visible stacks begin light cyan 35, light cyan 40, blue 45, light cyan 50; then light cyan 40, white 40, light cyan 35, blue 20; then light cyan 40, hidden question-mark, red/brown 17, hidden question-mark. Five white buffers are empty.
Goal
Drain both 100 background counters, clear the brown figure and dark-purple base, and remove the gray locked strip until the board is blank.
Opening
Tap light-cyan 50, blue 45, the newly exposed light-cyan 35, blue 20, and the newly exposed white 40 in that order.
Danger Zone
The long cyan wave fills the five buffers while the 100 counters drain. The gray question-mark strip is a locked lane; delay dark purple 45/50 and keep a slot for red/brown 17 and white 1.
Mechanics
Two long light-cyan side routes open the background before red/brown body stacks and dark-purple base stacks become safe.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • What is the verified Level 284 opener?

Tap light cyan 50, blue 45, the exposed light-cyan 35, blue 20, then white 40. Wait for a bay after this five-card wave.

  • When should the dark-purple base be started?

Start dark-purple 45/50 after the light-cyan background and red/brown body routes have returned space. The gray question-mark strip and white 1 still need a free bay.
