How to Solve Colony Flow! Level 296 — Full Solution

  1. Tap green 25, then green 30, and wait for the first green stream to move before adding dark gray 40.
  2. Tap green 35 and the second green 35 as holes return; do not fill the fifth hole with red 50 yet.
  3. Tap dark gray 17 and blue 30, then tap red 31 after one of the dark or blue streams leaves the tray.
  4. Open red 50 only after the green pair has crossed the brown 500 area; keep one white hole available for the next short card.
  5. Route green 30/35, red 35/48 and blue 45 in separate handoffs while the brown counter falls.
  6. Tap dark gray 45 and dark gray 40 once the blue route returns, then use the exposed red 40 and yellow 42 fragments.
  7. Play yellow 33, yellow 9/7 and red 43/40/24 as short links; do not restart a long green wave when the top row is nearly empty.
  8. Use the late green and dark chain with blue 20 and pink 13, waiting for a hole after the white or dark stream.
  9. Tap green 45, white 49 and dark gray 30 as they appear around the lower edge; preserve a hole for the final blue fragment.
  10. Finish the remaining blue/pink and short yellow routes, then wait for the empty board and Victory screen.

Common Mistakes to Avoid

  • Starting red 50 or blue 45 while green 35 and dark gray 40/45 still occupy the holes can block the brown gate transition.
  • Do not stop when only scattered bird pixels remain; white 49, dark gray 30 and the final blue/pink routes still need returned holes.

Quick Tips for Colony Flow! Level 296 (spoiler-free)

  • Drain green 25/30 before dark gray 40, then keep one hole open for the short dark gray 17.
  • Separate red 50 and blue 45 from the first green/dark wave; their long routes overlap the five-hole tray.
  • Late dark gray 30, white 49, green 45 and blue/pink fragments still count after the bird looks almost gone.

Layout
A green pixel grid holds a dark-blue and purple bird-like figure with red body patches, yellow beak and leg pixels, a red circular detail at the upper right, and white question-mark tiles across the centre. The opening stacks show red 31, green 25/30/35, dark gray 40, blue 30/45 and red 50 above a five-hole buffer.
Goal
Remove the brown 500 gate, then clear the green field, dark-blue body, red patches, yellow outline and question-mark cover until the board is empty and Victory appears.
Opening
Tap green 25, green 30 and dark gray 40 first; after a hole returns, use green 35/35 and dark gray 17, then blue 30 and red 31 before opening the long red 50.
Danger Zone
Green 35/30, dark gray 40/45, blue 45 and red 50 can fill all five holes while the brown counter is still active. Wait for a returned white hole before another long route.
Mechanics
The brown 500 block is a target gate rather than a normal stack, and white question-mark tiles reveal chained red, yellow, dark-blue and white fragments as the outer green route clears.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • What is the safest opening for Colony Flow Level 296?

Tap green 25, green 30 and dark gray 40, then use green 35/35 and dark gray 17 before blue 30 and red 31. Delay red 50 until a hole returns.

  • Why does the brown 500 block matter?

It is a target gate covering the left side of the bird, so the green and dark routes must cross it before the red, yellow and question-mark fragments can finish.
