How to Solve Colony Flow! Level 298 — Full Solution
- Tap green 50 and green 30, then wait until both green streams are moving away from the tray.
- Tap the next green 50, green 50 and green 50 group; add green 125 only after a white hole returns.
- Continue with green 70 and green 47, then use green 20 and green 40 to clear the garden edge.
- Let the gate remain at 40 while the outer green ants work; do not treat the brown square as a normal card.
- When the counter starts to fall, tap pink 12 and dark 20, then wait before adding dark 47.
- Use green 50 and dark 25 while the gate passes its short 27, 9 and 1 stages; let the square disappear completely.
- Once the pink animal is visible, route pink 30/42 and green 30/45 in separate waves.
- Tap dark 25 and yellow 36 only after a pink or green hole returns; keep one bay open for the late yellow short card.
- Use yellow 13 with green 50/45, then finish green 34, magenta 24, light pink 5 and dark 8.
- Tap the final yellow 3 and wait for the garden border and pink pixels to clear to the Victory screen.
Colors in this level:
Green, Pink, Dark purple, Yellow, Orange, White, Brown, Magenta
Common Mistakes to Avoid
- Adding pink 12 or dark 47 while all five green routes are active can block the staged gate transition.
- Do not rush green 125 after the first click; its long route can hide the short dark and pink cards needed when the 40 gate opens.
Quick Tips for Colony Flow! Level 298 (spoiler-free)
- Play green 50 and green 30 first, then hold green 125 until one of the opening green streams returns.
- Use the gate counter—40, then 27, 9 and 1—as the signal to switch from long green cards to pink and dark cards.
- After the pink animal appears, keep a hole for yellow 36/13 and dark 25 instead of restarting the green 125 route.
Board notes 5 details
- Layout
- A green garden grid contains orange/yellow star pixels, a purple heart or leaf at the upper left and a pink animal-like figure on the right. A large brown square with a purple outline and the counter 40 covers the centre. Opening stacks show green 50, 125, 50, 50, then pink 12, green 70, green 47, green 30 and lower green 20/40/50 with white 18.
- Goal
- Clear the outer green garden and the staged brown 40 gate, then remove the purple shape, pink animal, yellow details and final green border until the board reaches Victory.
- Opening
- Tap the green 50 and green 30 routes shown in the first tray, then the next green 50/50/50 group. Delay green 125 until a hole returns so the gate-side transition has room.
- Danger Zone
- The green opener can fill all five holes while the gate still reads 40. Wait for the gate to progress through about 27, 9 and 1 before adding long dark or pink routes.
- Mechanics
- The brown 40 square is a delayed reveal layer, not a stack card. Green ants clear the garden border first; the gate then drops in stages and exposes pink, dark and yellow routes.
Frequently Asked Questions
How should I open Colony Flow Level 298?
Tap green 50 and green 30, then the green 50/50/50 group. Wait for a returned hole before green 125, and keep pink 12 out until the gate begins to fall.
What do the 40, 27, 9 and 1 counters mean?
They are the brown target gate's reveal stages. Let the green garden route progress them, then switch to pink and dark cards as the gate approaches 1 and disappears.
