Colony Flow! level guide
Colony Flow! Level 35 Walkthrough
Colony Flow Level 35 is a tall garlic-bulb board where the purple background and black outline have to open first so the white bulb, yellow centers, silver highlights, green leaves, and small pedestal can follow without clogging the trail.
Board Notes
- Layout
- The board opens in portrait view. The top half of the screen holds a pixel-art garlic-bulb figure: a large white multi-petal bulb body with three yellow center cells in its upper half, a green leaf cluster rising out of the top, a small dark red/brown pedestal under the bulb, a thin black outline wrapping the silhouette, and a fully purple background tile filling the whole art area. Below the dirt strip the working area is a 5-cell top active row plus a 4-row, 3-column source grid. The 5-cell active row opens as purple 30, black 25, empty white buffer, empty white buffer, empty white buffer. Source row 1 reads yellow 25, silver 32, white 32. Source row 2 reads purple 40, green 35, white 28. Source row 3 reads white 30, orange 19, white 30.
- Goal
- Purple cubes from the purple 30 in the active row plus the purple 40 in source row 2 must fill the large purple background of the art. Black cubes from the black 25 in the active row plus the late 37 black and 35 black refills must trace the thin black outline wrapping the bulb silhouette. White cubes from the white 32 in source row 1, the white 28 in source row 2, and the white 30 stacks in source row 3 must fill the white multi-petal bulb body. Yellow cubes from the yellow 25 in source row 1 plus the late 18 yellow and 8 yellow refills must close the three yellow center cells inside the bulb. Silver cubes from the silver 32 in source row 1 plus the late 22 silver refills must handle the silver-grey edge highlights on the bulb petals. Green cubes from the green 35 in source row 2 plus the late 33 green and 3 green refills must close the green leaf cluster on top. Orange cubes from the orange 19 in source row 3 plus the late 18 orange, 10 orange, 5 orange, and 4 orange refills must finish the small orange accent cells around the bulb.
- Opening
- The run opens with the purple 30 stack at the far left of the 5-cell active row. Purple ants leave the ant hole immediately and start walking the dirt path up to the purple background of the pixel art, and the purple cells closest to the ant hole start closing in the first beat. The second confirmed tap is the black 25 stack in the second cell of the active row, which sends black ants up the same dirt path and starts drawing the thin black outline wrapping the garlic-bulb silhouette. The three empty white buffer slots in the active row (cells 3, 4, and 5) are kept open so the rising refills (the small 2, 1, 26 white-grey waves, the late 4 orange, the late 15 purple, the late 8 yellow, and so on) can land cleanly as the active row drains. The yellow 25, the silver 32, the white 32, the purple 40, the green 35, the white 28, the white 30, the orange 19, and the white 30 in the source rows are all held for one beat so the purple and black waves can clear the perimeter of the bulb before any bulb body, leaf, center, or accent color is sent.
- Danger Zone
- Most failed runs start at the three empty white buffer slots in the 5-cell active row (cells 3, 4, and 5). The video shows those three slots being filled with rising refills in quick succession (small white-grey 2, 1, 26 waves first, then orange 4, purple 15, yellow 8, and so on), and if the player taps those rising refills before the purple 30 and black 25 waves have cleared the perimeter of the bulb, white and yellow refill ants get stranded behind active purple and black ants on the dirt path and the white bulb body plus the three yellow centers never close. The other trap is firing the yellow 25 in source row 1 while purple ants are still walking the dirt path up to the purple background, because yellow ants use the same dirt path as the purple ants and a premature yellow click strands yellow ants on the still-empty bulb body cells and blocks the late 18 yellow refill that needs to reach the three yellow centers. Tapping the green 35 in source row 2 before the purple background is at least half-closed is also bad, because green ants cross the bulb body cells that the white and silver stacks still have to fill and stall on the still-empty leaf cells at the top of the art. Letting the silver 32 in source row 1 rise into the active row before the black outline is at least half-drawn strands silver ants on the still-empty bulb body cells and blocks the white 32 in source row 1 that needs to reach the bulb body.
- Mechanics
- Level 35 is a multi-stack color-routing board combined with a pixel-art completion goal and a single ant hole, with a garlic-bulb-on-purple-background scene. The 5-cell active row plus the 4-row, 3-column source grid makes this a tall 17-stack working area with three empty white buffer slots, so almost every tap immediately changes a route. The garlic-bulb pixel art has seven main color families (purple background, black outline, white bulb body, yellow centers, silver edge highlights, green leaf cluster, orange accent cells) plus the late refill waves, and the player has to keep all of those routes staged at once. The 5-cell active row is the queue that pre-holds the purple 30 and the black 25 from the start, and the 4-row, 3-column source grid underneath it acts as the supply that refills the active row as stacks are sent. The three empty white buffer slots are the real staging space here, so the last small black, white, green, orange, and purple refill waves still need a clean delivery after the bottom of the grid looks clear. Compared to Level 30's coconut-on-the-beach board, this garlic-bulb scene is taller, has a much larger purple background region, and has a white-on-purple body-and-background contrast that forces the player to keep the empty buffer slots open for the late refill waves instead of using them as active stack spaces.
Quick Tips for Colony Flow! Level 35 (spoiler-free)
- Tap the purple 30 and the black 25 in the active row in that order so the purple background and the black outline close together before any bulb body, leaf, center, or accent color is allowed onto the dirt path. Hold the yellow 25, silver 32, white 32, purple 40, green 35, white 28, white 30, orange 19, and white 30 source stacks for one beat so the purple and black waves clear the perimeter of the bulb first.
- Keep the three empty white buffer slots in the active row open for the rising refills. The video shows those slots being filled with small white-grey 2, 1, 26 waves, then orange 4, purple 15, yellow 8 refills in quick succession. Filling them with a yellow 25, silver 32, or white 32 source click strands the refill waves and leaves the three yellow centers, the silver edge highlights, and the white bulb body cells empty.
- Save the green 35, the orange 19, and the late 33 green, 3 green, 18 orange, 5 orange, and 10 orange refill waves for the mid-to-late game. They are the leaf, accent, and refill colors, and the win cue is the full garlic-bulb image, not an empty play area.
How to Solve Colony Flow! Level 35 — Full Solution
- Tap the purple 30 stack at the far left of the 5-cell active row. Purple ants walk the dirt path up to the purple background of the garlic-bulb pixel art, and the purple cells closest to the ant hole start closing in the first beat. Wait for the first purple ants to clear the bottom edge of the art before tapping the next stack.
- Tap the black 25 stack in the second cell of the active row. Black ants walk the same dirt path and start drawing the thin black outline wrapping the bulb silhouette. Purple and black share the path, so leave one beat between them so the purple background is mostly closed before the outline starts drawing.
- Tap the yellow 25 stack in the left cell of source row 1 as it rises into the active row, then wait for the small white-grey refill (2, 1, 26) to rise into the three buffer slots and tap those in order. Yellow ants start filling the three yellow center cells inside the bulb, and the small white-grey refill ants handle the grey edge accents. Yellow shares the path with purple and black, so leave one beat between the yellow wave and the next purple or black refill that rises into the active queue.
- Tap the silver 32 stack in the middle of source row 1, then the white 32 stack in the right of source row 1 as it rises. Silver ants close the silver-grey edge highlights on the bulb petals, and white ants start closing the white bulb body. Silver and white share the dirt path, so leave one beat between them.
- Tap the purple 40 stack in the left of source row 2 (the second half of the purple background) as it rises into the active row, then the green 35 stack in the middle of source row 2, then the white 28 stack in the right of source row 2. Purple ants close the last purple background cells, green ants start filling the green leaf cluster on top, and white ants continue closing the white bulb body. Purple, green, and white share the path, so leave one beat between the purple wave and the next green or white refill.
- Tap the white 30 stack in the left of source row 3, then the orange 19 stack in the middle of source row 3, then the white 30 stack in the right of source row 3. White ants close the last bulb body cells, orange ants close the small orange accent cells around the bulb, and the final white wave closes the last bulb body accent. Orange and white share the path, so leave one beat between the orange wave and the next white refill.
- Tap the late 33 green, 35 black, 38 purple, 40 purple, 20 brown, and 30 white refill waves that rise into the three empty buffer slots in the active row. These refill waves close the last leaf cells, the last outline cells, the last purple background cells, the last bulb body cells, and the small brown pedestal cell under the bulb. Each refill shares the dirt path with the wave that came before it, so leave one beat between the refill waves.
- Finish by tapping the final 3 green, 5 orange, 10 orange, 12 white, 9 black, 7 white, 29 purple, and 30 white cleanup refills in the last beat. Green ants close the last leaf cells, orange ants close the last accent cells, white ants close the last bulb body cells, black ants close the last outline cells, and purple ants close the last background cells. The garlic-bulb silhouette is complete once the last matching cube lands and the level banner appears.

Common Mistakes to Avoid
- Filling the three empty white buffer slots in the active row with a yellow 25, silver 32, or white 32 source click before the purple 30 and black 25 waves have cleared the perimeter of the bulb, which strands white and yellow refill ants behind active purple and black ants on the dirt path and leaves the white bulb body plus the three yellow centers empty.
- Firing the yellow 25 in source row 1 while purple ants are still walking the dirt path up to the purple background, which strands yellow ants on the still-empty bulb body cells and blocks the late 18 yellow refill that needs to reach the three yellow centers.
- Tapping the green 35 in source row 2 before the purple background is at least half-closed, which sends green ants across the bulb body cells that the white and silver stacks still have to fill and stalls them on the still-empty leaf cells at the top of the art.
Frequently Asked Questions
What opening order works best in Colony Flow Level 35?
Begin with the purple 30 stack at the far left of the 5-cell active row, then the black 25 stack in the second cell of the active row. This closes the purple background and the thin black outline together before any white bulb body, yellow center, silver edge highlight, green leaf, or orange accent color is allowed onto the dirt path. Tap the yellow 25, silver 32, white 32, purple 40, green 35, white 28, white 30, orange 19, or white 30 source stacks only after the purple 30 and black 25 waves have cleared the perimeter of the garlic-bulb.
What breaks when the yellow 25 stack goes early in Colony Flow Level 35?
The yellow 25 stack in source row 1 uses the same dirt path as the purple 30 in the active row, and the three yellow center cells inside the bulb only sit in cells that are still open while the purple background is closing. If yellow ants are sent before the purple background is at least half-closed, they stall on the still-empty bulb body cells, the late 18 yellow and 8 yellow refill waves waiting in the active queue cannot reach the three yellow centers, and the small white-grey 2, 1, 26 refill waves that have to rise into the three empty buffer slots get stranded behind active purple and yellow ants on the dirt path. Tap yellow 25 only after the purple 30 and black 25 waves have cleared the perimeter of the bulb.
