Colony Flow Level 556 Walkthrough

hard 7 colors

A toy ray gun sits inside a heavy purple field in Level 556, and the clean route starts by exhausting the three active purple stacks (39, 36, 38) before blue, green, yellow, red, or pink ants enter the two bottom openings.

How to Solve Colony Flow! Level 556 — Full Solution

  1. Tap purple 39, purple 36, and purple 38 from left to right; let their ants drain the broad purple field around the ray gun.
  2. Tap the newly exposed purple 30 stacks while purple cells still line the top and sides, and wait for the lower perimeter to thin.
  3. Tap blue 20 and blue 25, followed by the later cyan stack, to remove the cool bands in the barrel.
  4. Tap green 27 and the next green stack; wait until green ants have cleared the lower edge before changing colors.
  5. Tap yellow 26 and the later yellow 15/26 stacks to remove the narrow yellow barrel stripe.
  6. Tap red 36 and the pink 31/32 detail stacks, then dispatch the last small purple remainder to clear the board.

Colors in this level:

Purple, Blue, Cyan, Green, Yellow, Red, Pink

Common Mistakes to Avoid

  • Tapping blue 20 before purple 39/36/38 finish mixes two large ant waves at the same bottom opening.
  • Filling all five white buffers during the cyan/green transition leaves no landing slot for the red body stack.
  • Switching repeatedly between yellow and pink makes the narrow ray-gun details clear more slowly than color-batching them.

Quick Tips for Colony Flow! Level 556 (quick clues)

  • Clear purple 39, 36, and 38 before touching blue 20 or yellow 26.
  • Continue exposed purple 30 stacks while the top border is still purple.
  • Route blue/cyan and green as separate barrel batches instead of releasing them together.
  • Reserve two white buffers for the red and pink body stacks revealed late.
Board notes 5 details
Layout
Toy ray-gun pixel art with a broad purple background, pink/red body on the right, and green, cyan, yellow, and blue barrel bands extending left. A dark ant hole and tan opening sit below the board with five white buffers. Active stacks are purple 39, purple 36, purple 38; buried rows show purple 30, blue 20, yellow 26, green 27, then purple 30, blue 25, pink 31, red 36.
Goal
Drain the purple background first, then route the gun's cool barrel bands, green section, yellow stripe, and red/pink body until the ray gun and final purple cap disappear.
Opening
Tap purple 39, 36, and 38 across the active row. Continue newly exposed purple 30 stacks while purple still covers the top and side border; this keeps both openings serving one dominant color.
Danger Zone
Blue 20 and yellow 26 become tempting as soon as the first purple stacks shrink. Sending either while purple ants still fill the lower perimeter creates a mixed-color jam; keep at least two white buffers free through the transition.
Mechanics
Dominant-background routing with a three-stack same-color opener, followed by separated barrel and body color waves.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Why do all three opening purple stacks go first?

Purple covers the largest region and the entire outside field. Clearing 39, 36, and 38 together opens the board perimeter for every smaller ray-gun color.

  • When should I tap blue 20?

Wait until the opening purple wave has drained and newly exposed purple 30 stacks no longer need both openings.

  • Which buffers should stay open?

Keep at least two of the five white slots empty while blue, green, and yellow rotate through the active row.

  • Why must the purple field clear before the gun colors?

Purple covers the entire outside field and both openings; mixing red, pink, or yellow gun details before the 39/36/38 stacks drain causes a two-hole traffic jam.
