Magic Sort level guide
Magic Sort Level 206 Walkthrough
Magic Sort Level 206 is a five-vault release board — three locked wooden boxes in the top row need dark brown and two need red, and the middle row's red+blue and blue+green mixers are the only source of those two keys. Bank dark brown from M5 and red from M3, unlock the boxes in key order, then route the five revealed colours (pink, yellow, gray, purple and orange) into single-colour bottles.

How to Solve Magic Sort Level 206 — Full Solution
- Pour the cyan top of the middle M2 bottle into the leftmost bottom bottle to bank a clean cyan buffer; M2 is now empty.
- Pour the dark brown top of the middle M5 bottle into the middle bottom bottle to bank a clean dark brown buffer; M5 is now your third buffer.
- Tap the leftmost brown-key box (T1) to drop its hidden pink bottle, pour that bottle's brown into the brown buffer, then tap T3 to drop its hidden gray bottle, refill brown, and tap T5 to drop its hidden orange bottle.
- Peel the red+blue middle M3 bottle top-first — red into the rightmost bottom bottle to bank a red buffer, blue onto the cyan buffer to start a blue lane.
- Tap the two red-key boxes (T2 and T4) using the red buffer — each tap drops a fresh single-colour bottle (yellow and purple).
- Pour the green top of the blue+green middle M4 bottle into the now-empty M2, peel its blue onto the blue lane, and route pink, yellow, gray, purple and orange each into its own top-row bottle.
- Top off green, cyan, red, blue, dark brown, pink, yellow, gray, purple and orange so all 13 bottles end on a single colour (or empty for the two used vaults).
Colors in this level:
Green, Cyan, Red, Blue, Brown, Pink, Yellow, Gray, Purple, Orange
Common Mistakes to Avoid
- Pouring red into the cyan buffer, which buries the only key to T2 and T4 under a colour neither vault accepts.
- Breaking the dark brown bottle in M5 before a clean second buffer exists, which strands the three brown vaults with no refill route.
- Skipping the top-first peel on M3, which leaks blue back into the middle row and stalls the cyan lane before the two red vaults can be tapped.
Quick Tips for Magic Sort Level 206 (spoiler-free)
- Tap a brown-key box to drop a full single-colour bottle, then pour that bottle's brown back into your brown buffer to keep the chain alive across the three brown vaults.
- Peel the red+blue M3 bottle top-first — red goes straight into a red buffer, blue goes onto the cyan buffer so the cyan lane is still usable.
- Hold the green top of the blue+green M4 bottle until M2 is empty, otherwise the green and the blue end up in the same buffer and the blue lane stalls.
Board notes 5 details
- Layout
- A three-tier board of 13 bottles with no locks, wraps, corks or magic. The top row holds five locked wooden box / vault bottles — boxes 1, 3 and 5 carry a dark brown icon (brown key), boxes 2 and 4 carry a bright red icon (red key). The middle row is the working row — a green (1 layer), a cyan (1 layer), a red-on-blue (2 layers), a blue-on-green (2 layers), and a dark brown / maroon (1 layer). The bottom row is three empty bottles, so three buffers at the start.
- Goal
- Earn dark brown and red on the board to unlock the five vaults, then sort the five new colours (pink, yellow, gray, purple and orange) into the row you just freed. The brown-key chain is the long bottleneck — three boxes all need the same brown, so you must keep refilling the brown buffer after each unlock.
- Opening
- Pour the cyan top of M2 into the leftmost bottom bottle to bank a clean cyan buffer. Pour the dark brown top of M5 into the middle bottom bottle to bank a clean dark brown buffer; M5 itself becomes the third buffer. Tap the leftmost brown-key box (T1) to drop its hidden single-colour bottle, pour that bottle's brown back into the brown buffer to refill, and repeat for the other two brown-key boxes (T3 and T5).
- Danger Zone
- Pouring red into the cyan buffer buries the only key to the two red-key boxes (T2 and T4) under a colour neither vault accepts. The two red-key boxes are one-shot — using the red top of M3 on a vault before parking the bottom blue of M3 leaks blue back into the middle row and stalls the cyan lane. Also, do not break the dark brown bottle in M5 until you have a clean second buffer, otherwise the brown-key chain stalls with three vaults still locked.
- Mechanics
- A pure wooden-vault release board with five boxes split 3-2 across two key colours. The only special bottle is the wooden box / vault — no corks, no wraps, no magic, no frozen. The puzzle is dark-brown-first, then red, then the five revealed colours (pink, yellow, gray, purple and orange), with the middle row's two mixers feeding both the keys and the new colours.
Frequently Asked Questions
How do you unlock the three brown-key boxes in Magic Sort Level 206?
Bank dark brown from the middle M5 bottle into a clean bottom buffer, then tap a brown-key box to drop a full single-colour bottle. Pour that bottle's brown back into the brown buffer to refill the key, then tap the next brown-key box. Repeat for all three brown vaults (T1, T3 and T5) before touching the red-key boxes.
Why is the red+blue M3 bottle the bottleneck in Level 206?
The two red-key boxes (T2 and T4) need red, and red only lives in the top layer of M3. If you do not peel M3 top-first, the bottom blue ends up back in the middle row, the cyan lane stalls, and the two red vaults stay locked behind a buried colour they cannot accept.
