Magic Sort Level 241 Walkthrough

hard Target: 38 moves 10 colors

Magic Sort Level 241 is a compact two-tier finale that hides its real chokepoint behind four cork bottles on the left and one white magic bottle on the right. Three of the corks need yellow, one needs green, and the board only carries a small flake of yellow and a single green segment — every pop has to be paired with a peel-off pour to recycle the trigger color, and the magic bottle is the only place to park the released purple, dark, and brown segments.

How to Solve Magic Sort Level 241 — Full Solution

  1. Pour the pink top of bottom col 4 (red/purple/pink) into the empty bottom col 5 to start a pink lane, then pour the exposed purple middle of that same stack into the magic bottle and let it sit there as a single purple segment.
  2. Peel the orange middle of bottom col 3 (pink/orange/cyan) into the bottom col 5 pink lane, then pour the cyan bottom of that stack onto the red bottom of the top col 4 (green/red) stack so the green sits cleanly on top of cyan-red.
  3. Pour the green top of the top col 4 stack onto the green-cap cork in top col 2 — the cork pops, a purple segment drops in, and the green you poured stays at the bottom of top col 2. Route that released purple into the magic bottle so the magic bottle now holds purple over purple.
  4. Pour the top col 5 red onto the red bottom of the now green/cyan/red stack to clear that flask, then pour the small yellow flake from the tiny top col 3 flask onto the yellow-cap cork in top col 1 — the cork pops, a dark segment drops in, and yellow stays at the bottom of top col 1.
  5. Peel the released dark off the top of top col 1 into the now-empty top col 5 to bank a dark lane, then pour the freed yellow from the bottom of top col 1 onto the yellow-cap cork in bottom col 1 — the second cork pops, another dark segment drops in, and yellow stays at the bottom of bottom col 1.
  6. Peel the released dark from bottom col 1 into the top col 5 dark lane to extend it, then pour the freed yellow from bottom col 1 onto the yellow-cap cork in bottom col 2 — the third cork pops, a brown segment drops in, and yellow stays at the bottom of bottom col 2.
  7. Pour the freed yellow from bottom col 2 into the bottom col 6 empty buffer to bank a clean yellow lane, then peel the released brown from bottom col 2 into the bottom col 5 dark lane so brown is parked safely. Finish draining the green/cyan/red stack, the pink/orange/cyan stack, and the magic bottle in that order so every color lands on its own single-color bottle.
  8. Top off green, red, cyan, dark, brown, yellow, pink, orange, purple and blue so all twelve bottles end on a single color with the magic bottle still holding only one color and no mixed segments left anywhere on the board.

Colors in this level:

Green, Red, Yellow, Pink, Purple, Orange, Cyan, Blue, Dark, Brown

Common Mistakes to Avoid

  • Pouring the wrong color onto a yellow-cap cork (orange onto the top col 1 cork, pink onto the bottom col 2 cork, etc.) which seals that cork shut and burns the move you needed to release its hidden color.
  • Skipping the peel-off pour after a cork release and trying to pour the next color directly, which strands the released color on top of the trigger color and leaves you with no clean yellow to release the next cork.
  • Pouring two different colors into the magic bottle in succession, which turns it into a locked 2-color mix and removes your only overflow flask before the final cork is popped.

Quick Tips for Magic Sort Level 241 (spoiler-free)

  • Pop the green-cap cork in top col 2 first so the green segment is out of the green/red stack before you start touching the yellow-cap corks.
  • Treat the tiny top col 3 flask as a one-shot yellow reserve — once its flake is on a cork slot you cannot get a second yellow out of the board without peeling the released color off first.
  • Keep the magic bottle strictly single-color from the very first pour, or it locks into a 2-color mix and you lose your only overflow with three corks still to clear.
Board notes 5 details
Layout
A compact two-tier board, six columns wide and twelve bottle positions in total. The leftmost two columns of both rows are four cream-colored cork-sealed bottles with small colored caps peeking out — top col 1 wears a yellow cap, top col 2 wears a green cap, bottom col 1 wears a yellow cap, and bottom col 2 wears a yellow cap. Top col 3 is a very short, near-empty dark flask that hides a small flake of yellow inside and acts as a built-in scratch buffer. Top col 4 holds a 2-color green/red stack (green on top, red at the bottom). Top col 5 is a near-empty single-color red. Top col 6 is a tall white magic bottle with a "?" tag and a single cyan segment at the bottom. The bottom row middle holds two 3-color stacks — bottom col 3 is pink/orange/cyan, bottom col 4 is red/purple/pink — and bottom col 5 and bottom col 6 are two transparent empty buffers. No frozen bottles, no wooden boxes, no wraps; the only special tiles are the four corks and the one magic bottle.
Goal
Pop all four corks before the rest of the board can be drained. Three of them (top col 1, bottom col 1, bottom col 2) need a yellow pour and one (top col 2) needs a green pour, so the trigger color has to be recycled through the cork slots themselves. The only yellow on the board is the small flake inside the tiny top col 3 flask and the only green is the top of the green/red stack in top col 4 — three of the four corks share a trigger color, and there is exactly one flake of it. The first unlock is the green-cap cork in top col 2 — pour the green from top col 4 onto it, the cork pops, a purple segment drops into the slot, and the green you poured stays at the bottom of top col 2. After that the magic bottle stops being optional scratch and becomes the only place to park the released purple, dark, and brown segments.
Opening
Pour the pink top of bottom col 4 (red/purple/pink) into the empty bottom col 5 to start a pink lane, then pour the exposed purple middle of that same stack into the magic bottle so the magic bottle stays strictly single-color. Peel the orange middle of bottom col 3 (pink/orange/cyan) into the bottom col 5 pink lane, then pour the cyan bottom of that stack onto the red bottom of the top col 4 (green/red) stack so the green segment is exposed on top of cyan-red. Pour that green onto the green-cap cork in top col 2 — the cork pops, a purple segment drops in, green stays at the bottom of top col 2 — and route the released purple into the magic bottle.
Danger Zone
Pouring the wrong color onto any of the three yellow-cap corks (top col 1, bottom col 1, bottom col 2) seals that cork shut and you cannot undo it inside the level — the puzzle is dead. The tiny top col 3 flask is the only yellow source on the board, so the instant its yellow is poured onto a cork the released color drops on top and the yellow is stranded at the bottom of that slot until you peel the released color off. If you skip that peel and try to pour the next color onto a different yellow-cap cork, you run out of yellow and leave two corks sealed. The magic bottle is the second danger — a single stray pour of a non-matching color into it turns it into a locked 2-color mix and you lose your only overflow flask with three corks still to clear.
Mechanics
A four-cork recycling puzzle on a twelve-bottle board — three yellow-cap corks plus one green-cap cork, with only one yellow source (a small flake inside the tiny top col 3 flask) and one green source (the top of the green/red stack in top col 4). Every cork release has to be paired with a peel-off pour that frees the trigger color for the next cork, and the magic bottle is the only overflow, so it has to stay strictly single-color from the first pour to the last. No wooden boxes, no wraps, no frozen bottles — just four corks and one magic bottle on a compact two-tier board.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • How do you open all four corks in Magic Sort Level 241 with only one yellow source?

Pour the small yellow flake from the tiny top col 3 flask onto the first yellow-cap cork in top col 1, then peel the released dark off the top of that cork slot into the top col 5 buffer to free the yellow at the bottom. Pour that freed yellow onto the next yellow-cap cork, peel its released color off the same way, and repeat for the third yellow-cap cork. Each cork release leaves the trigger color stranded at the bottom of the slot until the released color is peeled off the top.

  • Why must the green-cap cork in top col 2 be popped first in Magic Sort Level 241?

The green segment is the top of the green/red stack in top col 4, so it is exposed and reachable right away. If you touch the yellow-cap corks first, you start spending the only yellow on the board before the green is moved out of the green/red stack, and you can end up with a stranded green on top of red that blocks the bottom-row drains. Popping the green-cap cork first also routes its released purple into the magic bottle early, so the magic bottle is already holding a single color by the time you start the yellow recycling chain.
