How to Solve Magic Sort Level 306 — Full Solution

  1. Empty the top of the brown 7-stack into the bottom empty, then pour that color into one of the magic flasks to start a clean color lane.
  2. Drain the 2-color corked top bottle top-first into a different magic flask, then finish its second color onto a matching real stack.
  3. Split the two 3-color corked bottles the same way, parking each exposed color in its own magic flask until every flask holds one color.
  4. Return to the brown 7-stack and pour its now-exposed next color into the magic flask that already holds that color, building it into a full lane.
  5. Use the bottom empty as a one-shot shuttle when two real stacks line up, freeing a magic flask for the next corked top color.
  6. Top off every color into a single bottle, including the red, green, purple and orange lanes the magic flasks were holding.

Colors in this level:

Red, Green, Purple, Orange, Yellow, Pink, Blue, Navy, Brown

Common Mistakes to Avoid

  • Pouring two different colors into the same magic flask, which locks your best overflow slot.
  • Reaching for a buried color in the brown 7-stack before the top segments above it are gone.
  • Clearing the bottom empty into a magic flask and losing your only shuttle mid-sort.

Quick Tips for Magic Sort Level 306 (spoiler-free)

  • Use the four white magic flasks as one-shot color lanes, one color per flask.
  • Drain the brown 7-stack and the corked mixers top-first — never reach for a buried color.
  • Clear a magic flask onto a matching real stack before you reuse it for a new color.
Board notes 5 details
Layout
Three tiers, four bottles per tier — twelve bottles total, no wraps or boxes. The top row is one white magic flask, a 7-color corked mixer, a 3-color corked mixer and a 2-color corked mixer. The middle row is a magic flask, two 3-color mixers and a tidy yellow 1-stack. The bottom row is a magic flask, a heavy brown 7-stack, the single starting empty, and a final magic flask.
Goal
Use the four white magic flasks plus the lone bottom empty as flexible lanes to drain the brown 7-stack and the corked mixers top-first, then collect every color into a single bottle.
Opening
Start by draining the brown 7-stack and the top-row corked mixers from the top, parking each exposed color in a different magic flask. Treat the four corner magic flasks as one-shot color lanes and the bottom empty as a working shuttle.
Danger Zone
The brown 7-stack and the three corked top-row mixers are the choke points. Pour a top color into a magic flask that already holds a different color and the flask locks; keep each magic flask to a single color, clear it onto a matching real stack before reusing, and never burn the bottom empty until the magic flasks are loaded with their colors.
Mechanics
Four white magic flasks give Level 306 most of its flexibility — they accept any color and act as movable overflow. The real puzzle is the heavy brown 7-stack and the three corked top-row mixers: only their top segments move, so the order you drain them decides whether the magic flasks stay usable or lock.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • How do the white magic flasks work in Magic Sort Level 306?

They act as flexible overflow that accepts any color, but each one must still finish on a single color. Park one color per flask, then clear it onto a real stack before reusing it for a new color.

  • Why is the brown 7-stack the hardest part of Level 306?

Only its top segment moves at a time and the color on top blocks the seven beneath it. Drain the top first into a magic flask, then route each newly exposed color onto its matching lane so the bottle empties one segment at a time.
