Magic Sort level guide
Magic Sort Level 444 Walkthrough
Magic Sort Level 444 is a two-tier, twelve-bottle dual-vault board anchored by a small wooden vault at the top-right (V1, pink trigger) and another small wooden vault at the bottom-right (V2, blue trigger), with five tall 1-color mixers in each row. Pop V1 with the hidden pink from T1 and T4 to release a full pink stack that you pour back into T4 to grow the pink lane, merge T3 and B3 into one full purple bottle, then ferry the blue trigger down from the top into V2 to release a full blue stack and grow the blue lane at T1. The real bottleneck is depth-aware trigger order: V1 must take both pink pours before V2 takes its blue pour, and the orange and brown mixers can only be consolidated after both vaults are open so they have somewhere to land.

How to Solve Magic Sort Level 444 — Full Solution
- Tip T1 to expose the hidden pink at the very bottom, pour T1's pink down onto V1's pink trigger to start the wooden seal break, then tip T4 and pour T4's pink onto V1; when the seal breaks, the unlocked V1 reveals a full pink stack.
- Pour the released pink from V1 down onto T4 to grow the pink lane, then pour V1's remaining pink into T1 so T1 becomes a full pink bottle and V1 is freed as a working top-row buffer.
- Peel T2's green onto B1's orange base to start the green lane, then pour T3's purple onto B3's purple base to merge the two purples and free B3 as a bottom buffer. Peel T5's hidden cyan down onto V1 to start a cyan buffer in the top row.
- Pour T5's exposed cyan from V1 onto T1's parked pink/cyan to grow the cyan lane, then pour B1's orange onto B4's hidden red so B4 becomes a full red bottle and B1 is freed as a bottom-row buffer.
- Ferry the blue trigger from the top row down to V2 by pouring it onto V2's blue trigger; when the seal breaks, V2 reveals a full blue stack. Pour V2's released blue into T1 to start the blue lane at T1, then peel T2's remaining green onto B2's parked green to grow the green lane.
- Use the freed V1, V2, B1, B2, B3, B4 and B5 as working buffers to consolidate orange, brown, red and yellow into their own single-color bottles, then top off every bottle so all twelve end on a single color (blue at T1, yellow at T3, pink at T4, cyan at T5, gray at T6, red at B1, brown at B2, purple at B3, orange at B4, green at B6).
Colors in this level:
Pink, Green, Purple, Cyan, Blue, Orange, Red, Brown, Yellow, Gray
Common Mistakes to Avoid
- Pouring green, purple, orange, cyan, blue, brown, red or yellow onto V1, which still breaks the wooden seal but strands a mismatched color on top of the released pink stack and buries the only pink source needed to grow the pink lane at T4.
- Pouring pink, green, purple, orange, cyan, brown or red onto V2, which still breaks the wooden seal but strands a mismatched color on top of the released blue stack and burns the only blue trigger you needed to grow the blue lane at T1.
- Skipping the tip on T1 and T4 before trying to pop V1, so the pink trigger never reaches the top of either bottle and V1 stays sealed — without V1 open, neither the pink lane at T4 nor the freed V1 buffer can be used to consolidate the rest of the board.
Quick Tips for Magic Sort Level 444 (quick clues)
- Save the two hidden pinks in T1 and T4 for the V1 wooden vault — pouring them down in two stages is the only way to break V1's seal cleanly.
- Tip T1 and T4 first to expose the pink at the very bottom, then pour that pink onto V1; never pop V1 with green, purple, orange, cyan, blue, brown, red or yellow.
- After V1 is open, ferry the blue trigger down from the top row into V2 in one pour, then route the released blue into T1 so the blue lane grows at T1 and not at V2.
Board notes 5 details
- Layout
- Two tiers, twelve bottle positions, no locks, wraps, magic overflows, frozen frost bases, or corks. The top row is five tall standard 1-color mixers plus one small wooden vault at the top- right on a pebble base: T1 near-empty with one hidden pink layer at the very bottom, T2 full green, T3 full purple, T4 near-empty with one hidden pink layer at the very bottom, T5 near- empty with one hidden cyan layer at the very bottom, and V1 a small wooden vault with a key and a pink trigger visible on top. The bottom row is five tall standard 1-color mixers plus one small wooden vault at the bottom-right: B1 full orange, B2 full orange, B3 full purple, B4 near- empty with one hidden red layer, B5 near-empty with one hidden brown layer, and V2 a small wooden vault with a key and a blue trigger visible on top. No starting empty in either row; the only special tiles are the V1 and V2 wooden vaults.
- Goal
- Pop both wooden vaults with their matching trigger colors (pink onto V1, blue onto V2), use the released hidden stacks to grow the pink lane at T4 and the blue lane at T1, then drain the remaining orange, green, purple, cyan, red and brown 1-color mixers through the freed vault tiles and the near-empty slots until all twelve bottles end on a single color. The first unlock that matters is V1: the pink at the bottom of T1 and T4 is the only pink source on the board, and pouring it onto V1 is what breaks the wooden seal and reveals a full pink stack. The second unlock is V2: the blue trigger has to be ferried down from the top into V2 to break its seal and release a full blue stack that grows the blue lane at T1. The chokepoint is depth- aware trigger order, not raw empties, because the pink trigger lives at the very bottom of T1 and T4 and the blue trigger lives at the very top of the top-row mixers.
- Opening
- Tip T1 to expose the hidden pink at the very bottom, then pour T1's pink down onto V1's pink trigger to start breaking the wooden seal. Tip T4 to expose its hidden pink, then pour T4's pink onto V1; when the seal breaks, the unlocked V1 reveals a full pink stack. Pour the released pink from V1 down onto T4 to grow the pink lane, then peel T2's green onto B1's orange base to start the green lane and pour T3's purple onto B3's purple base to merge the two purples and free B3 as a bottom buffer.
- Danger Zone
- The two wooden vaults are the trap. V1 only unlocks cleanly with a real pink pour — using green, purple, orange, cyan, blue, brown, red or yellow still breaks the wooden seal but strands a mismatched color on top of the released pink stack, which costs an extra pour to clear and buries the only pink source needed to grow the pink lane. V2 only unlocks cleanly with a real blue pour — using pink, green, purple, orange, cyan, brown or red strands that color on top of the released blue stack and burns the only blue trigger needed to grow the blue lane at T1. Also, do not pour V1's released pink into V2, or V2's released blue into V1 — the two vaults hold different colors and the cross pour strands a foreign color on the wrong vault and buries the trigger you still need for the other unlock.
- Mechanics
- A two-tier, twelve-bottle dual-vault board where the two wooden vaults sit at the top-right (V1, pink trigger) and bottom-right (V2, blue trigger) of an otherwise tidy 1-color mixer field. The five top mixers are T1 hidden pink, T2 green, T3 purple, T4 hidden pink, T5 hidden cyan, and the five bottom mixers are B1 orange, B2 orange, B3 purple, B4 hidden red, B5 hidden brown. Because the pink trigger lives at the very bottom of T1 and T4, the player must tip those near-empties first to expose the pink, and because the blue trigger has to be ferried down from the top row, the player must keep a blue-topped bottle available while V1 is being popped. The puzzle is depth-aware trigger order: pop V1 with both pink pours in succession, route the released pink back into T4 to grow the pink lane, then ferry the blue down into V2 to release a full blue stack and grow the blue lane at T1, before using the freed V1, V2 and the emptied 1-color mixers as final buffers to top off orange, green, purple, cyan, red, brown, yellow and gray into their own single-color bottles.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the first pour in Magic Sort Level 444?
Tip T1 to expose the hidden pink at the very bottom, then pour T1's pink down onto V1's pink trigger. T1 is the first of two near-empties in the top row that hide a pink layer under a full water column, and V1 is the only wooden vault on the top row, so the pink must move out before the rest of the sort can start. The pour starts breaking V1's seal and frees T1 down to a working buffer so the next pour can land T4's pink onto V1 and continue the unlock.
How do you pop the V2 wooden vault in Level 444?
V2 sits at the bottom-right with a blue trigger on top, and the only blue source on the board is a single top-row color that has to be ferried down. Keep a blue-topped bottle available while V1 is being popped, then after V1 is open and the pink lane is growing at T4, pour that blue trigger down onto V2 to break the seal. The pour releases a full blue stack, and you route that blue into T1 so the blue lane grows at T1 and V2 is freed as a bottom-row working buffer.
Why is V1 the most important tile in Level 444?
V1 is the only wooden vault on the top row, and the only pink on the board lives at the bottom of T1 and T4. Popping V1 with those two pink pours in succession is what reveals a full pink stack, and that stack is what grows the pink lane at T4 and frees V1 as a top-row buffer. Once V1 is open and the pink lane is at T4, you have a real top-row buffer to land cyan from T5, and you can start ferrying the blue trigger down to V2 without losing the pink you've already consolidated.
