Sand Blocks: Drop Puzzle Level 301 Walkthrough

hard 5 colors

Level 301 is a 4x7 grid of fourteen 1x2 receivers with only two working catch slots, one under a yellow chamber and one under a red chamber whose shutter reads 4. Shuttle the matching receiver into a catch slot, clear it, and follow the right feed as it turns from red to green to cyan.

How to Solve Sand Blocks Level 301 — Full Solution

  1. Hold left r1 (yellow, +10 badge) under the left yellow chamber; it fills 0% to 100% at about t=5.5s and clears for +10.
  2. Shuttle the yellow(+15) receiver from left r3 up into left r1; it fills at about t=10.5s, clears for +15, and the left chamber and left tube then run dry.
  3. Leave left r2 green, left r4 blue and left r5 green(+10) in place as storage while the left side has no feed.
  4. Keep a red receiver in right r1 while the shutter steps 3 at about t=5s, 2 at about t=10s, 1 at about t=14s and disappears at about t=19s.
  5. Clear the red receivers in turn - right r1, right r3, right r6(+10) - waiting for each 0% to 100% vanish; right r1 reads 13% at about t=28s mid-fill.
  6. Use left r1 as a second staging slot between about t=21s and t=31s, where a blue receiver sits and a red receiver completes at about t=30s.
  7. When the right feed turns green at about t=31.5s, place a green receiver under the right chamber; it clears at 100% for +15.
  8. When the right feed turns cyan from about t=33s, place the cyan receiver under the right chamber; it reaches 100% at about t=36s.
  9. Confirm every receiver has shown 100% and vanished; the board empties at about t=38s and the SAND BLOCKS card plays at about t=40s.

Yellow, Green, Blue, Red, Cyan

Common Mistakes to Avoid

  • Leaving a green receiver in left r1 after t=6s, which stalls the last yellow layer the left chamber still holds.
  • Dragging the yellow(+15) receiver out of left r3 before left r1's yellow(+10) has finished, so two yellow receivers compete for one layer.
  • Expecting the right chamber to release red sand at full rate before the shutter reaches 0 at about t=19s.

Quick Tips for Sand Blocks Level 301 (quick clues)

  • Treat left r1 and right r1 as the only working cells; every other receiver is storage.
  • Do not move the yellow(+15) receiver off left r3 until the yellow(+10) at left r1 has cleared.
  • Hold the right r1 red receiver until the shutter reads 0 at about t=19s before expecting free red flow.
Board notes 5 details
Layout
Four columns by seven rows; each row has a left slot (c1-c2) and a right slot (c3-c4). Above r1 sit a yellow chamber (c1-c2) and a red chamber (c3-c4) carrying shutter 4, each fed by its own vertical tube. Opening fill - left: r1 yellow(+10), r2 green, r3 yellow(+15), r4 blue, r5 green(+10), r6 yellow, r7 red(+15); right: r1 red, r2 blue(+10), r3 red, r4 yellow(+15), r5 blue, r6 red(+10), r7 green.
Goal
Only left r1 and right r1 can collect sand. Clear the left r1 yellow(+10) first, then bring the yellow(+15) up to drain the last of the left chamber, and finish on a cyan receiver under the right chamber.
Opening
Leave left r1 yellow(+10) in place until it fills at about t=5.5s, then shuttle yellow(+15) from left r3 into left r1 for the remaining yellow layer. Keep a red receiver under the right chamber while shutter 4 steps down.
Danger Zone
Parking a green or blue receiver in left r1 between t=6s and t=9.5s collects nothing while the left chamber still has a yellow layer to give, and leaving a blue receiver in right r1 while the red chamber is still feeding wastes that layer and overruns the countdown.
Mechanics
Gravity feed from two chambers into two shared catch slots, 100% clear-and-vanish, shutter counter 4 on the right chamber stepping 4-3-2-1-0, numbered bonus badges on seven receivers awarding +10 or +15 seconds, and a right-hand feed that changes red to green to cyan.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Why does a receiver sit in the catch slot without filling?

It does not match the colour the chamber above is currently delivering; the left chamber only gives yellow and runs dry after about t=10.5s.

  • What do the numbers on some receivers mean?

They are bonus badges. Clearing a badge-10 receiver adds +10 seconds and a badge-15 receiver adds +15 seconds to the countdown, shown as a green popup beside the timer.

  • How does the board end if only two cells can collect sand?

Receivers are shuttled into the two catch slots one at a time; each clears and frees the slot for the next colour the feed delivers.
