Sand Blocks: Drop Puzzle Level 302 Walkthrough
Level 302 hides most of its board under a wide purple shutter that reads 2. Three chambers (cyan-blue, yellow, red) feed two opening rows; drive the shutter to zero at about t=10s and a lattice of key-marked receivers and a padlock-3 red receiver appears underneath.

How to Solve Sand Blocks Level 302 — Full Solution
- Let the left chamber feed the r1 c1-c2 area untouched; the left counter steps 9 to 8 at about t=6s.
- Drive the shutter counter from 2 to 1 at about t=6s and to 0 at about t=10s without parking any receiver in the corridor under the middle yellow chamber.
- Read the revealed lattice at about t=10s: padlock-3 red receiver in the left-centre, blue key-marked receivers down the left and centre, yellow-framed 5-badge receivers on the right.
- Fill the blue key-marked receivers; each 100% clear releases a visible key item, and three keys are needed for the padlock.
- Work the yellow-framed 5-badge receivers on the right while the middle chamber still holds its yellow load.
- Keep feeding the left cyan-blue receivers; the left counter runs 7 at about t=12s down to 4 at about t=24s.
- Unlock the red padlock-3 receiver once three keys are collected and route the right chamber's red sand into it before about t=43s.
- Follow the right feed after the red phase - cyan from about t=43s to t=54s, then green at about t=55s - and match the remaining receivers in that order.
- Clear the last receivers and confirm the board animates empty; the SAND BLOCKS card plays at about t=60s.
Colors in this level:
Cyan, Blue, Yellow, Red, Purple, Green
Common Mistakes to Avoid
- Parking a receiver in the corridor under the middle yellow chamber while the shutter still reads 1.
- Filling receivers with the wrong colour before the shutter retracts, which wastes the only visible rows.
- Opening the padlock-3 receiver before three keys are collected, which leaves it stranded while the red feed runs out.
Quick Tips for Sand Blocks Level 302 (quick clues)
- Nothing below the shutter exists until the counter reaches 0 at about t=10s; do not plan the lower board early.
- Collect three keys before touching the padlock-3 red receiver.
- Keep the corridor under the middle yellow chamber clear while the shutter is still at 1.
Board notes 5 details
- Layout
- Three columns with three top chambers - left cyan-blue under counter 9, middle yellow under counter 2, right red with no counter. Opening rows: r1 is purple (c1), blue key-marked (c2), red (c3); r2 is red with a +10 badge (c1), purple (c2), blue key-marked (c3). A wide purple shutter carrying counter 2 covers the lower half. Bottom row: green (c1), small red stacked over small purple (c2), green (c3).
- Goal
- Reduce the counter-2 shutter to zero so the hidden lattice appears, then fill the blue key-marked receivers to release three keys and open the padlock-3 red receiver before the right chamber stops feeding red.
- Opening
- Leave the opening rows alone and let the left chamber feed r1 while its counter steps 9 to 8 at about t=6s. The shutter reads 2 at the start and 1 at about t=6s and must be driven to 0 at about t=10s.
- Danger Zone
- The two-cell corridor under the middle yellow chamber is the only route from that chamber to the visible receivers; parking the r2 c2 purple or the r2 c1 red receiver there freezes the shutter counter at 1 and blocks the yellow load. Moving the single-cell purple receiver at bottom c2 early strands the small red receiver stacked above it.
- Mechanics
- Two-phase board: a wide purple shutter with its own counter retracts at zero and reveals a single-cell receiver lattice. The revealed board carries a padlock receiver reading 3, blue key-marked receivers that release visible key items, and yellow-framed receivers with 5 badges. The right feed runs red, then cyan from about t=43s, then green at about t=55s.
Frequently Asked Questions
What does the purple block with the number 2 do?
It is a shutter covering the lower half of the playfield. It reads 2 at the start and 1 at about t=6s, and retracts when it reaches 0 at about t=10s.
Where do the keys come from?
Blue receivers marked with a key symbol release a visible key item each time one reaches 100% and clears. Three of them are needed for the red receiver showing the padlock and the number 3.
Why does the right chamber change colour?
Its feed is layered. It delivers red until about t=43s, cyan from about t=43s to t=54s, then green at about t=55s.
