Sand Blocks: Drop Puzzle Level 366 Walkthrough

expert 8 colors

Level 366 feeds everything from one centre hopper and a side tank that appears once three red pieces clear the shutter. The hopper runs red, blue, yellow, purple and white; the side tank runs brown, magenta and green, and the clock is the real opponent.

How to Solve Sand Blocks Level 366 — Full Solution

  1. At about 1:50 on the timer the red bar at c3-c4 r2 reads 87% under the hopper and clears; the shutter counter drops 3→2 at 1:49.
  2. At about 1:48 slide the red 1x1 from c1 r2 into the pocket beside the hopper at c2 r1; it is 100% at 1:47 and the counter reads 1.
  3. At about 1:46 drop the second red 1x1 into c3 r2 (60%), and the shutter lifts at 1:45 to show the lower half: the brown tank on the left, the 3 dispenser at the bottom centre and a crowd of coloured bars.
  4. At about 1:41 put the blue bar under the blue left half of the hopper (56% at 1:39) and the red vertical under the red right half at c4 r2-r3 (87% at 1:39). The blue bar clears at 1:38; the red one tops out and finishes around 1:35 while a blue vertical fills at c3 r2-r3.
  5. At about 1:32 bring the second blue bar under the hopper (54% at 1:31); it clears at 1:30 and the hopper is pure yellow.
  6. From about 1:28 to 1:22 feed the yellow bars; the one from the right side reaches 100% under the hopper at 1:22 as purple starts falling on top.
  7. At about 1:17 park a brown bar beside the left tank. It climbs to 71% by 1:14 while the tank empties, then has to wait.
  8. From about 1:13 to 0:34 reorganize the board: bring the long bars and the white L up the centre while the dispenser releases its pieces (the badge reads 2 at 0:39 and 1 at 0:38).
  9. At about 0:32 the left tank has refilled with brown: a brown 1x1 starts filling beside it and the 71% bar finishes at 0:30. The tank turns magenta, the magenta bar is 100% at 0:29 and the magenta vertical clears at 0:26.
  10. At about 0:25 a yellow vertical takes the last yellow (73%, then 80% at 0:24). The purple bar is 100% under the hopper at 0:19, then white arrives: the white bar at 0:16, the white L at 0:15 and the white 1x1 at 0:13.
  11. At about 0:12 finish beside the left tank: magenta vertical 100% at 0:12, magenta 1x1 at 0:10, then the green bar and green verticals as the tank turns green. The last green is full at 0:07 and the level ends with 7 seconds left.

Common Mistakes to Avoid

  • Dropping a receiver under the hopper without checking which colour sits on that half; it fills only partway and blocks the outlet.
  • Forgetting the side tank: brown, magenta and green never come from the centre hopper, so those bars need a slot beside the tank.
  • Spending too long shuffling. The board was solved with only seven seconds to spare.

Quick Tips for Sand Blocks Level 366 (quick clues)

  • Watch the slant of the sand in the hopper: blue sat on the left half while red was still on the right.
  • The side tank pours only into the cells next to it, so keep a lane open beside it for brown, magenta and green.
  • A half-filled receiver keeps its percentage; park it out of the way and bring it back when that colour returns.
  • Plan moves before dragging. This board rewards short routes, and wasted shuffles cost seconds that the finish does not have.
Board notes 5 details
Layout
Six columns. A single hopper sits over c3-c4 at the top, fed by a pipe; cells touching it (c3-c4 r2 below, c2 r1 and c5 r1 beside it) take its sand. A shutter marked 3 hides the lower half. Behind it are a brown sand tank on the left fed by its own pipe, a dispenser marked 3 at the bottom centre, and rows of blue, red, green, white, purple, magenta and yellow bars.
Goal
Clear three red receivers to lift the shutter, then keep feeding the centre hopper and the left tank alternately until every receiver is gone before the timer runs out.
Opening
The red bar at c3-c4 r2 is already under the hopper and clears within the first second; two red 1x1s follow, one slid into the pocket beside the hopper, and the shutter lifts at about 1:45.
Danger Zone
The hopper's sand is piled at an angle, so the left and right halves can carry different colours at the same moment. A receiver under the wrong half stalls partway, as the red vertical did at 87%.
Mechanics
One layered centre hopper, a clear-counting shutter, a pipe-fed side tank that changes colour after each batch, a three-piece dispenser, and a timer that finished with only seven seconds to spare.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • What opens the lower half?

The shutter counts cleared receivers. Three red clears (the bar at 1:50 and two 1x1s) bring it from 3 to 0, and it lifts at about 1:45 on the timer.

  • Where does the brown sand come from?

From the tank on the left side of the lower half, which has its own pipe. It pours only into cells touching it and later switches to magenta, then green.

  • Why did a receiver stop at 87% or 71%?

Its colour ran out in the source before it filled. It keeps that percentage and finishes when more of the same colour arrives, as the brown bar did at 0:30.
