Sand Blocks: Drop Puzzle Level 413 Walkthrough

expert 9 colors

Level 413 carries the game's Hard label. It starts with two top wells: the left well changes from white into blue, yellow and cyan, while the right well waits on pink before turning red, purple and brown. Early receiver clears drive the middle counter down and empty the large yellow and blue release bays on the right, creating the crowded midgame that the late L-shaped pieces must survive.

How to Solve Sand Blocks Level 413 — Full Solution

  1. Start with the small white/grey receivers under the left well. The first clear at about 2:34 drops the middle counter from 7 to 6.
  2. Keep the white receivers tight around the left well instead of sliding red L pieces across the chute; another white clear brings the early release chain toward 5 by about 2:23.
  3. When blue appears in the left well around 2:23, feed the exposed blue bar and small cyan-blue square through the central lane. This drops the counter through 4 and 3 while preserving room beside the right bays.
  4. Use the newly opened lower-left space to move the yellow square and blue verticals out of the way. The lower right blue bay reaches its final count before the 1:50 mark.
  5. As the yellow bay reaches its last count around 1:49-1:46, keep the right edge clear. Released yellow, brown and red pieces need that space immediately.
  6. Continue left-well work through yellow and cyan. Pull the small yellow square and the cyan verticals into the left well before the left pipe changes again.
  7. After the right side opens, stage the long cyan L and vertical cyan pieces away from the central purple pillar so brown and red Ls can pass underneath them.
  8. Use the right well for pink/magenta first, then prepare for red. The pink vertical clears around 0:47-0:45, opening the top-right lane.
  9. When the right well turns red around 0:43-0:39, fill the red vertical and red L pieces from the top-right mouth; do not leave a red L wedged across the middle row.
  10. Purple follows the red phase. Move the purple bar and L receivers into the right well while the brown pieces wait in side lanes.
  11. At about 0:18 the right pipe turns brown. Feed the upper brown L first, then the lower brown Ls, walking each piece to the right well rather than blocking the central pillar.
  12. The final brown piece clears at about 0:03, leaving an empty board and the Level 413 completion card.

Common Mistakes to Avoid

  • Treating the yellow and blue bays as sand reservoirs. They are release containers; the visible badges count hidden pieces that enter the grid.
  • Blocking the centre with a red or brown L during the 1:50-1:39 release-bay phase.
  • Spending the late brown receivers too early. Brown only becomes active at the right well near the end.

Quick Tips for Sand Blocks Level 413 (quick clues)

  • Use the opening white and blue clears to drive the counter and release bays before the board becomes crowded.
  • Keep the central lanes beside the purple pillars open when the right-side pieces spill out.
  • Save enough space for the late brown L pieces, because the right pipe does not turn brown until the final seconds.
Board notes 5 details
Layout
A seven-column, ten-row board split by fixed purple pillars. The left top well sits around c2-c3 under a white/blue/yellow/cyan pipe; the right well sits around c5-c6 under a pink/red/purple/brown pipe. A cyan vertical counter starts at 7 in the lower centre. The right half begins with a large yellow release bay marked 3 above a large blue release bay marked 3, then 2 after early clears. The left half holds red L pieces, purple bars and Ls, white squares, cyan and blue receivers, a brown L, a yellow square and a tall magenta receiver.
Goal
Clear the first white and blue receivers to reduce the shared counter and empty the right-side release bays. Once the bays open, route yellow and cyan through the left well, then finish the right-well sequence through pink, red, purple and brown.
Opening
The first white receiver fills at the left well and clears around 2:34, dropping the middle counter from 7 to 6. More white/grey clears take the chain toward 5, then blue receivers catch the left well when the pipe changes at about 2:23.
Danger Zone
Around 1:50-1:39, the yellow and blue release bays have opened and the right half is suddenly full of yellow, brown, red and purple pieces. Leaving a brown L or red L across the centre blocks the cyan and yellow receivers from reaching the left well.
Mechanics
Two top wells with independent colour cycles; an early shared clear counter; large right-side release bays whose badges count hidden pieces; and a late right-well cleanup that changes from red to purple to brown.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • What should I clear first in Level 413?

Clear the white receivers under the left well first. They start the shared counter chain and make room for the blue phase.

  • What do the yellow and blue boxes on the right do?

They release hidden receivers into the right side as their badges drop. They are not receivers to fill with sand.

  • Why is the ending so tight?

The right pipe saves the brown phase for the last seconds, so the brown L pieces must already have clear lanes to the top-right well.
