Sand Blocks: Drop Puzzle Level 411 Walkthrough

expert 9 colors

Level 411 opens with two huge top tanks, blue marked 5 and cyan marked 3, under an overhead channel that changes from white to cyan to brown. The solve is mostly about respecting that feed order while keeping room for numbered pink blockers and the final side-pipe run. The last pink L clears at about 0:23.

How to Solve Sand Blocks Level 411 — Full Solution

  1. 2:45-2:36 - Clear space below the white mouth. Keep the blue 5 tank and cyan 3 tank in place while you move white, gray, blue and brown receivers out of the lower rows.
  2. 2:16 - The upper-left basin is filled with white. Pink checkered blockers marked 6 and 7 are exposed, with brown and orange vertical receivers stacked beside them.
  3. 1:56 - The overhead channel switches to cyan at the left mouth while brown is visible in the far-right part of the channel. Keep the cyan bars and blue/cyan receivers in the center lanes.
  4. 1:36 - The top-left basin is a cyan pile, and the left pink blocker has dropped to 3. Slide cyan bars across the middle so the cyan tank can be worked without blocking the right-side pipe.
  5. 1:16 - The right cyan tank still shows 3, while the lower field is now mostly brown, orange, pink, cyan and purple. Set the brown/orange receivers vertically so they can be moved quickly once the pipe turns brown.
  6. 0:56 - The top-left basin becomes brown. The right tank begins opening from the bottom, and the right pink blocker is down to 1. Prepare the red L receiver near the left side pipe.
  7. 0:41-0:36 - Brown continues feeding from the upper-left mouth. Place the red L under the left red side pipe; it is 42% full at about 0:36. Keep the purple vertical and magenta receivers near the top.
  8. 0:35-0:32 - Clear the brown horizontal and upright pieces while the brown mouth is still active. The purple vertical reaches 100% around 0:32.
  9. 0:31-0:28 - Move the last brown and pink pieces away from the center. A brown upright clears around 0:28 as the right-side lane opens.
  10. 0:27-0:24 - Feed the pink pieces from the right side: a small pink piece clears, then a horizontal pink receiver.
  11. 0:24-0:23 - Put the final pink L into the open right-side footprint. It fills to 100% at about 0:23 and the level clears immediately after.

Common Mistakes to Avoid

  • Reading the tank badges without watching the overhead channel. The pipe color, not the badge alone, decides the next receiver.
  • Blocking the right side with a tall receiver before the cyan 3 tank starts dropping.
  • Saving the red L until after the brown sequence. The red side feed needs a clear left footprint at about 0:36.

Quick Tips for Sand Blocks Level 411 (quick clues)

  • Read the overhead channel first. White, then cyan, then brown decides the receiver order.
  • Keep the right side open while the cyan 3 tank is still active.
  • Set brown and orange vertical receivers upright before the channel turns brown.
  • Reserve a left footprint for the red L around 0:36 and a right footprint for the last pink L around 0:23.
Board notes 5 details
Layout
Tall portrait board. The top has a blue tank on the left marked 5 and a cyan tank on the right marked 3. A shared overhead channel starts with white sand at the left mouth, cyan in the middle, and brown queued on the far right. The lower playfield includes a red side pipe on the left, a blue/green side pipe on the right, numbered pink checkered blockers, and white, cyan, blue, brown, orange, purple, magenta, green and red receivers.
Goal
Build space under the left mouth for white first, then let cyan take over the left basin while the large cyan tank stays on the right. The late route releases brown from the overhead channel, clears the numbered pink blockers, uses the side pipes, and finishes with pink pieces on the right.
Opening
At about 2:45 the blue tank shows 5 and the cyan tank shows 3. The first moves are lower-board sorting under the white mouth. By 2:16 the upper-left area is full of white, and the numbered pink blockers are visible at 6 and 7.
Danger Zone
Do not treat the two large tanks as independent goals. The useful sand is whatever reaches the left mouth of the overhead channel. Also keep the lower brown and orange receivers from clogging the center before the red side pipe appears.
Mechanics
Two large top tanks share one overhead channel. The channel visibly changes white to cyan to brown. Pink checkered blockers count down as the middle opens, and the horizontal side pipes become important only in the last minute.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Which tank should I clear first?

Do not choose by badge alone. Work under the overhead channel: white first, then cyan in the left basin, then brown in the final minute.

  • What do the pink checkered blocks do?

They are numbered blockers that count down as the board opens. They are visible at 6 and 7 around 2:16, then drop through 4, 3 and 1 before the late pink finish.

  • Where does the final pink piece go?

The final pink L sits on the right side. After the brown and red side-pipe work, it fills at about 0:23 and triggers the clear.
