Sand Blocks level guide
Sand Blocks: Drop Puzzle Level 436 Walkthrough
Level 436 is a compact multi-phase board with a green top panel marked 3 and outlined lower panels marked 4 and 5. Clear the small yellow, brown, cyan and green receivers first, follow the blue-to-yellow-to-purple feed changes, and reserve the right sand pocket for the final red receiver.

How to Solve Sand Blocks Level 436 — Full Solution
- At 2:15, clear the short yellow and brown receivers immediately below the green 3 panel. Let the top count fall before moving the large green square.
- Use the small cyan receiver and the green square in the centre-left pocket. Their clears open the outlined 4 and 5 panels and create the first safe landing row under the right pipe.
- Keep the large green receiver on the side until the small upper pieces have disappeared. A cross-board placement here blocks both the left blue-badged panel and the right green sand pocket.
- When the top feed changes to blue around 1:43, route the blue/cyan bar through the upper-left opening, then clear the red and brown pieces in the upper-right room. Wait for the blue sand to stop settling before crossing the centre.
- Use the newly open middle cells for the yellow and cyan receivers. Leave the lower purple bar and the bottom yellow lane untouched while the outlined panels are still visible.
- During the yellow-feed phase around 1:13-0:43, place the yellow bars from the centre outward. Keep the right tan sand pocket open and use the lower yellow receiver only after its matching grains are visible.
- Clear the remaining cyan receiver and the small blue-badged piece in the left lane. Do not use the right pocket as a parking space; it is the source for the final red sand.
- When the top feed turns purple, move the purple receiver into the upper-left/top lane and let it clear. The board should now be reduced to the red L-shaped receiver, the lower purple piece and the right red pocket.
- Place the red L in the open upper/middle cells only after the yellow lane is empty. Let the right red pocket fill it without crossing the grey centre wall.
- Finish the lower purple and final red receiver between about 0:20 and 0:12. Wait for the last grains to settle and confirm the empty board before the Sand Blocks transition.
Colors in this level:
Green, Yellow, Brown, Cyan, Blue, Purple, Red, Orange, White
Common Mistakes to Avoid
- Dragging the large green receiver across the centre before the green 3 and outlined 4/5 release chain has opened.
- Using the right sand pocket as a temporary parking space during the blue or yellow phase.
- Placing the final red receiver before the lower yellow and purple lanes have cleared.
Quick Tips for Sand Blocks Level 436 (quick clues)
- Clear the short yellow and brown receivers below the green 3 panel before moving the large green square.
- Pause between the blue, yellow and purple feed phases so the right sand pocket does not become blocked.
- Reserve the right pocket for the final red receiver and keep the lower yellow lane separate from the purple piece.
Board notes 5 details
- Layout
- The source is a landscape recording with a centred portrait board approximately seven columns wide and ten rows tall. A green top panel marked 3 sits below the vertical feed. Outlined panels marked 4 and 5 sit beneath it, with a cream pipe and green sand pocket on the right. The lower grid contains yellow and brown bars, a green square, cyan and blue bars, a purple receiver, a red/orange piece and a small blue-badged panel on the left.
- Goal
- Use the small receivers below the green 3 panel to lower the top and outlined gates. Follow the visible feed changes from green to blue, yellow and purple, keeping the right sand pocket and lower yellow/purple lanes available until the final red phase.
- Opening
- At 2:15 clear the short yellow and brown receivers immediately below the green 3 panel, then use the cyan and green pieces in the centre-left pocket. Do not drag the large green receiver across the middle before the outlined 4/5 panels open.
- Danger Zone
- A large green receiver across the centre blocks the blue-badged left panel and right sand pocket. In the late phase, placing the red receiver in the lower row before the yellow and purple feeds finish strands the final red sand behind the grey centre wall.
- Mechanics
- The compact board has a green counter starting at 3 and outlined lower panels marked 4 and 5. The top feed changes visibly from green to blue, yellow and purple. The final red receiver is cleared only after the board has reduced to a mostly empty grid; no key or lock action is inferred from the blue badge.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the opening release chain in Level 436?
The visible green 3 panel is followed by outlined panels marked 4 and 5. Small yellow, brown, cyan and green receiver clears lower the gates and open the later feed phases.
How should the feed phases be handled?
Treat them in order: green opening, blue upper-left release, yellow middle and lower lanes, then purple and red cleanup. Do not mix a later colour into an earlier lane.
What is the final target?
After the purple phase, keep the right red sand pocket open, place the red L-shaped receiver, then clear the remaining purple and red pieces. The board empties at about 0:12.
