How to Solve The Vault: Logic Puzzle Box Level 67 — Full Solution

  1. On the base, tap the small square hatch with the purple arrow. It slides open and gives the Key.
  2. Open the 4x4 slide plate on the base. Slide the tiles until the green window forms a diamond around the central keyhole. Insert the Key; the plate drops the Pen.
  3. Open the octagonal dot plate on the side of the egg and use the Pen. Each dot has a tally mark (one dash, two, three, and so on). Draw from the one-dash dot at the lower left through the dots in counting order, then back along the bottom. The purple mountain outline gives Discs 1/3.
  4. On the other side, open the octagon of eight nodes with the cyan hexagon, yellow triangle, and purple square lamps. Move the node pegs until the purple lines form a square on the four corner nodes, the yellow lines form a triangle, and the cyan lines run around the rim. The panel drops Discs 2/3.
  5. Open the diamond glyph board. One glyph glows yellow at a time; tap its twin elsewhere on the board to remove the pair. Keep going until every glyph is gone. The board gives the Button (green egg gem).
  6. Place the Button in the octagonal slot on top of the egg. It opens on the Empty Paper. Use the Pen on the paper to rub it pink and reveal the Paper Clue: spiral top, ring-on-bar left, barred diamond right, star burst lower left, almond lower right.
  7. Open the five-roller oval and turn each roller to match the Paper Clue in the same position: top roller spiral, middle-left ring-on-bar, middle-right barred diamond, bottom-left star burst, bottom-right almond. The rollers sink and reveal a 5x7 board of round tiles around a central ring.
  8. Rotate the round tiles until their dark lines form one closed loop around the center ring: a rounded rectangle through the inner columns with a four-point star around the ring. The loop glows purple and the board gives the Cubic Inset.
  9. Place the Cubic Inset in the small square socket near the top of the egg. A panel of brick rows opens. Slide the rows left and right until the cyan circuit lines connect from the bottom row upward. The middle rows open on Discs 3/3.
  10. Open the front star window, which already holds a red-ringed disc, and place the three Discs (blue, yellow, and green rings). Drag the blue disc to the center first, then stack the yellow and green discs on it, and finally drag the red disc on top. The window opens and the egg awards the Glyph Tablet and 30 coins.

Common Mistakes to Avoid

  • Trying the octagonal dot plate before you have the Pen from the keyhole slide plate.
  • Drawing the dot mountain by eye instead of following the tally marks in counting order.
  • Setting a roller to a nearby glyph instead of the one in the same position on the Paper Clue.

Board notes 5 details
Layout
A green egg on a stepped bronze base. The front has a starry window under two triangle caps, one side has an octagonal dot plate, the other side has an octagon of eight nodes with cyan hexagon, yellow triangle and purple square lamps, and the base holds a small arrow hatch and a 4x4 slide plate.
Goal
Collect the three Discs and stack them in the front star window. The egg opens and awards the Glyph Tablet.
Opening
Tap the small hatch with the purple arrow on the base and take the Key. Then open the 4x4 slide plate on the base.
Danger Zone
Several tools are consumed. The Pen is used twice, first on the dot plate and later on the Empty Paper, and the paper only becomes the Paper Clue after the Pen rubs it. On the octagon, the lines are fixed to the node pegs, so you move the pegs, not the lines.
Mechanics
Each stage feeds the next: Key opens the slide plate for the Pen; the Pen dot drawing gives Discs 1/3; the octagon gives Discs 2/3; the glyph board gives the Button; the Button slot gives the Empty Paper; the Paper Clue sets the rollers, which reveal the tile loop and the Cubic Inset; the Cubic Inset opens the brick panel and Discs 3/3.
