- Take the Pliers from the central tower and use them on the spring plug to pull out the Hook with Chain. Collect the Plate behind the ice door and combine the two into the Plate with Hook.
- Hang the Plate with Hook on the X/O panel. Tap the three boards to turn them until the left board shows X top-right, O middle-left, X center. The middle board should show X X blank / X O blank / X O O, and the right board X top-left, X bottom-left, O bottom-middle. The lamps light and Puzzle Pieces 1/2 drop.
- Collect Puzzle Pieces 2/2 and the Cog from the towers. Place the pieces on the 2x2 C panel below the grille.
- Turn the four C tiles until the left column shows two backward Cs (opening left) and the right column two normal Cs (opening right). The grille releases the Arrows piece.
- Pick up the Crank from the ice block. Fit the Cog and the Crank on the gear door and turn it open, then place the Arrows in the Z-shaped slot to open the radial dial.
- On the radial dial, use the up/down buttons to pick a yellow-outlined key spoke and the curved buttons to turn it. Fan every key out onto its own outer dot until the dial clears and shows a Key.
