Zoodoku Level 12 Walkthrough
Zoodoku Level 12 is a 6x6 two-anchor penguin board. Keep the seeded animals at r2c6 and r6c5, then place r5c2, r3c1, r4c4, and the final brown-region animal at r1c3.

How to Solve Zoodoku Level 12 — Full Solution
- Preserve the seeded penguins at r2c6 and r6c5; the opening Xs at r6c1-r6c4 are logical exclusions.
- Place the magenta-region penguin at r5c2, the single magenta cell beside the lower cyan field.
- Place the slate-blue-region penguin at r3c1 on the remaining left-edge intersection.
- Place the cyan-region penguin at r4c4, separated from both seeded anchors and leaving the top brown field open.
- Finish with the brown-region penguin at r1c3, then wait for Excellent and the following reward/leaderboard transition.
Colors in this level:
Slate-blue, Brown, Yellow, Cyan, Magenta, Orange
Common Mistakes to Avoid
- Taking r1c2 early consumes a square adjacent to the source's final r1c3 brown placement and breaks the non-touching finish.
- Replacing the seeded r2c6 or r6c5 animals with a new placement misreads fixed opening state as an empty target; only four player penguins are added.
Quick Tips for Zoodoku Level 12 (quick clues)
- Start by preserving r2c6 and r6c5, then take the narrow magenta r5c2 and slate-blue r3c1 cells.
- Keep the top brown field untouched until r4c4 is placed; the source finishes at r1c3.
Board notes 5 details
- Layout
- The 6x6 opening has a slate-blue left column at r1c1-r3c1, a large brown field across the top and left-middle, a cyan corridor from r3c4 through the lower-right, single-cell magenta r5c2 and yellow r2c6 territories, and orange r6c5. The first frame seeds penguins at r2c6 and r6c5 and shows opening white Xs at r6c1-r6c4.
- Goal
- Use the two fixed anchors to expose the magenta r5c2 and slate-blue r3c1 single-cell targets, then take cyan r4c4. Preserve r1c3 in the broad brown field for the final row-and-column closure.
- Opening
- The seeded penguins are r2c6 in the yellow cell and r6c5 in the orange cell. The successful player order is r5c2, r3c1, r4c4, then r1c3; the four bottom-left Xs are present before any player placement.
- Danger Zone
- The clear brown r1c2 cell is tempting, but it is horizontally adjacent to the demonstrated final brown landing r1c3. Do not treat the opening r6c1-r6c4 X strip as a red failed move.
- Mechanics
- This level uses two opening anchors, one opening bottom-left X strip, two single-cell regions, and a cyan central corridor. The source keeps all hearts and displays Excellent before the reward/leaderboard transition; penguins are theme art only.
Frequently Asked Questions
Which animals are seeded in Zoodoku Level 12?
The first frame contains penguins at r2c6 in the yellow singleton and r6c5 in the orange singleton.
Which X marks are present before the solve starts?
Only r6c1, r6c2, r6c3, and r6c4 show white Xs in the opening frame; later Xs propagate from the seeded and placed animals.
Where does the final Level 12 penguin go?
After r5c2, r3c1, and r4c4, place the last brown-region penguin at r1c3. The source then shows Excellent.
