Block Out level guide

Block Out Level 181 Walkthrough

expert 7 colors

Block Out Level 181 pairs a tall packed staging well on the left with two orange-bordered chambers stacked on the right. Empty that well first so returning pieces have parking room, open the upper room before the lower one, and never park the tall red bar across their shared bridge.

How to Solve Block Out Level 181 — Full Solution

  1. Slide the cyan strip on the far-left edge out through the cyan side gate to free the outer rail.
  2. Separate the tall pink and red bars, parking red below the yellow center bar rather than across the chamber bridge.
  3. Remove the yellow center bar, then send the green and blue blocks from the bottom of the left well to their gates.
  4. With upper-left cells empty, peel the yellow, red, and cyan pieces that spill from the upper-right chamber.
  5. Drain that chamber blue and green edge pieces before anything returns to the bridge.
  6. Move the tall red bar fully back into the empty left well so the short bridge is completely vacant.
  7. Open the lower-right chamber and send its top red and yellow blocks across the bridge first.
  8. Route the lower green and blue blocks across while the left well still has free cells.
  9. Finish with the purple block and the final red piece sitting at the bottom of the lower chamber.

Common Mistakes to Avoid

  • Opening either right chamber while the left well is still packed, so returning bars have nowhere to park.
  • Leaving the tall red vertical bar across the shared bridge between the stacked rooms.

Board notes 5 details
Layout
Tall board with a narrow left well packed with long cyan, red, pink, yellow, green, and blue bars; two orange-bordered chambers stacked on the right; short bridge pieces guard both chamber mouths; side gates match the bar colors along the outer rails.
Goal
Empty the left well, open the upper-right chamber first, then the lower-right chamber, and return every revealed piece across the shared bridge into the well and matching gates.
Opening
Slide the outer cyan strip out the cyan side gate, separate the tall pink and red bars so red parks below the yellow center bar instead of across the bridge, then remove yellow and clear green and blue from the well floor.
Danger Zone
If a long red vertical bar covers the bridge while the upper chamber is still dumping pieces, the lower chamber pack has no path back out and the well fills with stranded bars.
Mechanics
Two stacked covered chambers share one short bridge and one tall staging well; chamber order and bridge ownership decide the solve.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Why is the left well mandatory parking?

Both right chambers return pieces through the same left well. If the well is still packed when a chamber opens, returns bounce into a full silo and freeze.

  • What fails if both right chambers open together?

Dual dumps exceed the well's capacity. Even a cleared well cannot absorb two chamber releases at once without corridor deadlock.
