How to Solve Block Out Level 524 — Full Solution

  1. Clear the short cyan piece beside the left gate and green piece beside the right gate, then remove the accessible red bars from the middle.
  2. Use those exits to reduce the cyan 4 restraint and both orange 2 locks; remove each newly freed cyan/orange cell without occupying the bottom-center turning area.
  3. Continue with loose yellow, red, purple, and green pieces until the purple reservoir falls from 6 through 1 and retracts.
  4. In the revealed layer, take the blue L from upper-right, then clear the green horizontal pieces across the upper half.
  5. Remove the cyan and red pieces around the lower-right green/blue hook; at about 00:36, turn that green/blue outline through the open floor approach first.
  6. With its footprint gone, slide the bottom-left yellow/blue hook into the center at about 00:34, keep its fixed L footprint aligned with the open floor approach, and route the full outline out.
  7. Clear the newly accessible yellow U-shaped group and red/green framed structures without laying a long red bar across the center.
  8. Open each orange 2-count side box only after the adjacent wall lane is empty, then take the released red, green, and yellow pieces.
  9. Finish the lower red and green groups, then send the last cyan/blue block through the bottom cyan gate.

Common Mistakes to Avoid

  • Moving the yellow/blue hook before the green/blue hook and losing the floor turning cells.
  • Treating the cyan 4 or orange 2 markers as movable gate labels instead of restraints that clear when ordinary blocks leave.

Layout
A purple reservoir starts at 6 above an exposed field with a cyan vertical restraint marked 4, orange locks marked 2 at left and lower-right, a bottom-left yellow/blue hook, and a lower-right green/blue hook. Outer counters begin at top 12 and right 25.
Goal
Use ordinary exits to clear the cyan 4 and orange 2 restraints, drain the purple reservoir from 6, and preserve the lower turn so the green/blue hook leaves before the yellow/blue hook.
Opening
Clear the short cyan and green side pieces plus accessible red center bars; these ordinary exits lower the purple 6 reservoir and the marked 4/2 restraints without moving the restrained pieces directly.
Danger Zone
The lower hooks overlap the same floor cells; the green/blue hook is handled around 00:36 before the yellow/blue hook around 00:34, so reversing them removes the needed turn.
Mechanics
Ordinary exits count a purple 6 reservoir, cyan 4 restraint, and two orange 2 locks down. Their cells open into a second layer where the two connected hooks share the same floor approach.
