How to Solve Block Out Level 549 — Full Solution
- Clear the lower edge green/orange blocks, then send the floor-facing red, yellow, and pink pieces through matching bottom gates.
- Free the cyan/pink framed upright and take it down; move the marked orange 4 and cyan 6 pieces only when their lower lanes open.
- Shift the large yellow square after the floor row empties, then continue until the purple cover falls from 9 to 0 and reveals the dense field.
- Remove that field's outer yellow/purple bars and lower red/pink uprights before crossing the center with the yellow/cyan joined L.
- Route the green/cyan L next, clear the right cyan/pink stack, and use its column for the tall red upright to lower the red cover from 3 to 1.
- Take the final red-counting piece to open the upper gold outline with its right orange device showing 4.
- Clear the upper outline's left yellow bar, small purple/cyan top blocks, and right pink/orange uprights while reducing the device 4 to 3 to 2 to 1 to 0.
- In the lower outline, send orange and red floor blocks down, clear both tall pink columns, and keep the large green L parked lower-left until the lanes open.
- Move the upper blue L through the top blue gate, then turn the lower green L through the center and out its green route.
- In the next top field, send the orange upright through the right orange gate, the upper green horizontal through the green route, then the blue and pink verticals through their top gates; the side/top counters fall from 10/6 to 6/2.
- Clear the lime squares and lime bends through the green side gate first, then lift the large blue L through the top blue gate; those exits finish the outlined phase and reveal a new multicolor upper field.
- In that upper field, take both red L shapes through the left red gate, send the orange horizontal and vertical through the right orange gate, then clear the lime square, right lime L, and upper lime bars through the left green gate. Lift the cyan horizontal and cyan L through the top blue gate, drop the yellow horizontal through the floor yellow gate, then send the last blue vertical through the top blue gate to reveal the final lower cluster.
- In the final lower cluster, lift the blue L through the top blue gate, take the purple horizontal through the left purple gate, then send both pink pieces through the top pink gate. Clear the purple vertical left and the blue horizontal upward, send the dark-green L right and the lime vertical left through their green gates, then finish with the central yellow T through the floor yellow gate.

Common Mistakes to Avoid
- Parking the large yellow square or a red column in the central seam while the next cover is opening.
- Trying to turn a joined L out of an outlined reservoir before its paired long blocks have cleared the outer gate.
Quick Tips for Block Out Level 549 (quick clues)
- After every large outline crosses the center, clear it completely instead of leaving its tail in the seam.
- Work each outlined reservoir from its external gates toward the shared middle.
Board notes 5 details
- Layout
- A wide red 3-count chamber sits above a huge purple chamber showing 9. The lower strip contains marked orange 4 and cyan 6 blocks, a framed cyan/pink vertical piece, a large yellow square, and tightly packed edge colors.
- Goal
- Open both covers, dismantle the joined-shape reveal, then clear the gold-outlined upper and lower compartments without separating them from the central gates.
- Opening
- Take the exposed lower green/orange and floor-facing colors, free the framed cyan/pink piece, then move the marked blocks when their side routes open.
- Danger Zone
- A tall column, joined L, or the yellow square left in the center seam cuts the upper reveal off from the divided lower reservoir.
- Mechanics
- The SUPER HARD timer covers multiple reveals: two counted chambers, several joined corners, and later gold-outlined reservoirs at both ends of the board.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the main route to protect in Block Out Level 549?

How should the late outlined reservoirs be cleared?
Take blocks through their external top or floor gates first, then use the widened center for the large blue and green L shapes.
